Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The location was perfect for us, which is why we chose the Hunt Lodge. Unfortunately we were staying to attend a funeral so the Hunt Lodge suited our needs as we needed three rooms so price was important. We got what we paid for and the staff were pleasant and thoughtful. Walking distance to Vibes and Sorelli cafes for great breakfasts. The Grand Union Canal is close by for nice walks. The Globe pub, 20 minutes along the canal is nice for a drink or lunch/dinner.

The staff were really friendly, they knew we had attended a gig and asked us how it went which was really nice. It was also great that unlike other places they didn't put up prices because of said gig. The location is ideal for things in the area such as MK Dons stadium and Wonurn Safari park. There's a nice field behind, which a park which is ideal for children guests. There's a free carpark too.
