I like the location very secluded and really woodland atmosphere. We loved our stay in the cottage.

A lovely place to switch off from every day life. The hot tub was amazing, stayed warm till the morning, needed 5/6 bags of Logs, not Kindlin. The animals where an added extra. They were really friendly and curious. The host was also really attentive and helped with all our needs.

We wanted a quiet getaway for the weekend while the hubby went to Oldfield Forge on the Saturday. We got just what we wanted. The lodge is well equipped, spacious and well laid out.

Lovely rural location, that is quiet and out of the way. There is no wi-fi and the lodges are meant to be a retreat so it might not suit everybody, but if that is what you're looking for then it's nice. They also have wood fire burning facilities, so you can BBQ.

Coed y Marchdog was really unique - one of the most beautiful lodges we’ve ever stayed in. The surrounding area of woodland was truly gorgeous and honestly the completely peaceful location! Like something out of a film.
