Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The Bank street lodge employees were great ! Really kind and helpful. The room was really clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it. And for sure choose it again in the future.
Stunning location, self-catering lodges were immaculate, nicely spaced out, real attention to detail to make the stay wonderful such as providing binoculars and a book to record wildlife sightings and providing relevant DVDs such as Braveheart as a nod to the filming conducted in the area. Cannot wait to go back as there is so much to do in the area and it was such a special, comfortable stay.
Great lodge style accommodation. Family room was well appointed and comfortable. The common kitchen space had all the things needed to cook and eat without hassle.
Easy to get to and well located for both Glencoe and Fort William.
The pictures don't do justice to the property. It is much much better and nicely done. It is in a quiet secluded area with a beautiful view of Nevis. The lodge had everything we needed. There were sufficient utensils for cooking and crockery. The beds are comfortable. We were parked right outside the lodge. In case you are in town and need a ride back to the lodge, you can always call a taxi. The owner is really sweet and came to check on us if we needed anything.
Overall, we had a great time and it exceeded our expectations.
Location was fantastic, peaceful with great views of Ben Nevis from the front of the lodge. Very clean throughout. On our arrival, we were met by a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful.
excellent location, nice fire in bar area, food good value and beers on tap. Ian the owner couldn't have been more helpful.
the new lodges snout to open next to the hotel look great!
We loved the style of the place, it was like a ski lodge. It was super warm and cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The host responded very quickly to our questions and were so friendly. Great stay, we would highly recommend it!
3 miles or so off the main road you weave through the forest and arrive at the estate.. views everywhere you look, stream running through, mountains all around …Such an amazing place to visit and stay. This was our 2nd year here and gets better each time we stay..
The lodges are warm and comfortable with everything you could need.. perfect little place to relax away from the city.
