Property was quiet, perfect for a peaceful relaxing stay.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The location was fab, within a short walk to several buses into Edinburgh. the lodge was so lovely and homely, property immaculate and was a lovely space to relax after a long day out exploring the city.
Room was pathetic. We were given a dirty room which was also probably for disabled people. The room aesthetics were really poor. The vegan sausages given in breakfast were not even cooked properly. We had to literally tear it with hands.
No dental kit… heard for the first time that we need to buy a dental kit… which is part of the room tariff even in 2 star lodges!!
I think I should have booked a lodge which could have given us better options.
if you want to waste money then you can book this hotel, it is better to book cheap lodges rather than this hotel.
