Great value for money and actually a short brisk walk (20 minutes) into Princes St. so great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle but while still having direct access to the city center. There are also some great food options nearby in Haymarket! Really easy to get to when travelling from the airport the airlink 100 bus stop (Wester Coates) is right outside the lodge. Staff were super friendly, would definitely recommend staying at the Lodge!

Its location was fairly convenient to the city. It was largely what was expected with the faded Travelodge sign shadow on the side.

Great location in nice part of the city. Easy 20min bus ride from Waverley. Lovely room, super comfortable bed and pillows and nice welcome tray including bottles of water and biscuits. The pub itself is nice with pleasant outdoor area at the front. Couldn't fault if, would choose it over Travelodge or Premier Inn.

The room was clean and comfortable, and extra bedding was available should we have needed it. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Lodge is a lovely old building in a nice area.

Very pretty building, out of the way of /city/ but very walkable to everything. Lovely riverside walks by the lodge.

Room was pathetic. We were given a dirty room which was also probably for disabled people. The room aesthetics were really poor. The vegan sausages given in breakfast were not even cooked properly. We had to literally tear it with hands. No dental kit… heard for the first time that we need to buy a dental kit… which is part of the room tariff even in 2 star lodges!! I think I should have booked a lodge which could have given us better options.

if you want to waste money then you can book this hotel, it is better to book cheap lodges rather than this hotel.

Exactly what you’d get in the travelodges/motel ones but 10x cheaper and the staff were always on hand for any help or extras! Location was perfect and right nearby bars and restaurants, along with our fave - rat pack piano bar! Highly recommend this place
