The setting of Strathview lodge is stunning with a magnificent view over the surrounding country side.
We slept well and we had a very good breakfast with cereal, yogurt, fruit juice, scrambled egg and smoked salmon, and coffee.
We loved the tranquillity of Strathview Lodge, its lovely location and views, and our extremely comfortable room and bathroom.
Breakfast of top quality ingredients was cooked perfectly, and delicious.
It was such a pleasure staying here with the care Monica and Gavin take to ensure both comfort and enjoyment of such a beautiful part of the world. A treat, along with knowing ones hosts care for preserving the beauty of their stunning environment.
The lodge was incredibly comfortable, a true home away from home Lovely little touches everywhere such as Highland cow decorations and paintings, and we certainly enjoyed lounging around in the living room watching movies after exploring the Highlands. Whilst it looks unassuming from the outside, the lodge was quite spacious.
The caravan was more like a small lodge with all the luxury of home,
Very clean and very well equipped the comfort was top notch and the cleanliness A1.
The site is very well kept no litter or vandalism probably not the best for children with no play area but just what we were looking for.
We never had any contact with the owners as everything was well explained before arrival and everything worked well in the caravan. This is our second year on this site and we will be back next year and hopefully in the Stags Head.
The lodge is pretty, well kept and clean. The furnishings are nice and practical. We had everything we needed and felt very happy there during our stay near Dornoch.
