Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

upon our arrival we were welcome by Serag El Din the front Office who took extremely good care of us througout our entire stay: restaurant recommendations (we has dinner ar Eskaleh Eco -Lodge which was outstanding), arrange transportation, Hana Michael took very good care of our trips and also Ahmed. We felt more like with friends rather than employees from a Hotel and we LOVE It. They definitely make the experience absolutely worth it

Great location by the lake, and only a short walk to the temple (20 min). We stayed in a newly built room, which was very big and beautifully decorated. Food (dinner and breakfast) was very delicious. The lodge offers boat tours. We did the Sunrise boat tour, which we highly recommend.

Eskaleh Eco-Lodge is the place where to stay in Abu Simbel, it is almost a destination in its own. It is owned by a famous Nubian singer and it is the place to experience Nubian culture. The personnel is incredibly friendly, the restaurant is very good, the main building of the hotel is very nice, built in traditional Nubian style. Rooms are in separate bungalows also very nicely decorate, very well equipped and very comfortable. They also organised our transport by car from and to Aswan. Everything perfect.

We liked that the Eskaleh Eco-Lodge has embraced and showcases Nubian culture! The room we had was nicely decorated and met our needs for the night we stayed. Nice and peaceful and great view of Lake Nasser. The food served at the lodge is good. Very tasty. I highly recommend the fish!

The Kabara House is an extremely nice place located not far away from the temples of Abu Simbel. The facility provides both good lodging and good food. The architecture of the place is unique. The staff is very helpful when it comes to logistics.

Beautiful large room (suite), view on the lake. Pool area is an instagram view and well designed. Service was quick and professional. Friendly and responsive staff. Very close to Abu Simbel temple (20 minutes walk). Hotel manager very helpful to organize local trips - i did a 4x4 desert safari to wadi el-sabua/Daka temples. Warmly recommend this hotel.

This place was a dream. Right from the room and the lodge, to the people, the food and the kittens. It was so nice to finally stay in a place which had good value for money, the staff were super nice and friendly and the food was beautiful. I am sad i missed out on the music the owner uses plays sometimes as he was away for a wedding.

The owner Mr. Ramadan is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very clean and well equipped, very close to the temples and the town center. Infinitely better than other very famous and eco-friendly lodgings in Abu Simbel that we could see were expensive, dirty and 5-star priced and pension services. Undoubtedly the best establishment in Abu Simbel (and I have been to several). Thank you Mr. Ramadan.
