The place is in an ideal location, stylish and spotless (and yes, after some research, I've found out that even Mozart and then Mahler lodged in the same building in their time :-) ).

I think the hotel did precisely what it was advertised to do - provide excellent, minimalist lodgings for the appropriate price. I liked the location and the people. U would and likely will stay there gain. As a soldier, comfort is both unimportant and important to e: I can live without it, but have an enhanced appreciation for it, having spent the night without it so many times. Kudos.

For the money, it's a great place with decent budget lodging and breakfast. If you're not too much interested to spend money in an accommodation and want to explore Prague, this is a great stay. Also 3-5 walk to the Metro station

The twin room was really nice - like a UK Travelodge (good shower, big bed, place to hang clothes). We didn't pay extra for breakfast but it was good to see it has that option. The reception area was nice, with a 24hr bar and seating area with coffee machines etc. It was only a 5 minute walk to the tram station and about 20 mins in an uber (which I would recommend) into Prague city centre

Using a key code was easy and effortless. More lodgings should have this as an option. It had smart, modern features, and was in a good location just outside the Old Town.

Some of the comments make me laugh - you’re staying in a 900 year old building and you complain there’s no elevator? plenty of travel lodges if that’s your thing. Stairs are perfectly doable if you’re not elderly or infirm. I loved staying here it’s full of charm, could not have have been in a better location. Man who checked me in with dreads couldn’t have been nicer, same for lady who checked me out.
