Experience luxury in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is an award-winning wilderness lodge located on the edge of the National Park and is 2 hours’ drive from Launceston and 75 minutes’ drive from Devonport.

Gorgeous setting and convenient to the park shuttle and to several trails practically just out the door. The breakfast buffet was outrageously good with a wide selection of items to suit any taste. The wallaby’s and wombats who visited each night were a special treat.

Boasting cottages and holiday cabins with cooking facilities, Discovery Parks - Cradle Mountain is just 800 metres from The Wilderness Gallery. Guests have access to laundry and BBQ facilities.

Each cabin and cottage has a refrigerator, microwave, kitchenware and tea/coffee making facilities. All include a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Some cottages feature a spa bath and gas fire.

There were plenty of utensils and dishes for us to do our basic cooking, and the room was spacious enough to relax in. The check in process was so easy and much appreciated as we were running late but still got into the cabin without any trouble!!

Very pleasant, cozy lodge in a scenic location. Rooms were well fitted out and very clean. Heaters are excellent, I had to turn mine off despite it being 0 degrees outside. Lots of sitting areas throughout the building for reading or relaxing and nice walks around the hotel.

Full-contained lodge, close to the visitor center. Great welcoming staff, clean and functional kitchen, good size and clean bathroom, the bed was awesome compared to the majority of the beds we slept in in other places. Fully functional, and very cozy, the whole family loved it!!

The lodge knew it was our 50th wedding anniversary and upgraded us to a cabin with fire and spa bath. Later they delivered a bottle of sparkling wine. When we had dinner in the restaurant, which was exceptional, I was delivered a plate decorated with chocolate and maccarons, meringues, etc. We were made to feel really special.

Wonderful location in beautiful quiet surroundings, with very comfortable well set-out individual lodges; gas fire, spar bath, king size bed, etc. We enjoyed a lovely sunset followed by a fabulous dinner in the restaurant. Great breakfast choices the next day too!

What a lovely place to stay at Cradle Mountain. the lodges are comfortable and well appointed - a touch rustic but that adds to the appeal. Everything you need in the kitchen for self catering. and a nice wood fire to keep warm in the cool evenings. set in the bush - its a lovely place to relax and get away from it all. We had a great time and its perfectly located for the bus into the national park.

Just about everything! The welcoming and hard working staff! The food in both the Tavern and Restaurant. The comfortable and clean accommodation with a gorgeous fireplace to use. The many varied and well signed walks within easy reach of the lodges but most of all the stupendous location and natural surrounds!
