This is the most incredible incredible place to stay! We had such an amazing time, we really didnt want to leave. This location gives you access to so many attractions and activities in the area! Villa villekula is so so beautiful and is built, decorated and designed with attention to detail. The donkeys and dogs are so cute and the view spectacular. Willie and Daniela are such wonderful hosts and ensured that we had a wonderful stay. By far one of our favourite experiences was dining at the restaurant on site. It is most definitely the best food we are going to have on this trip! We can't wait for the day that we can come back! Thank you!

And even when I needed a microwave Warren the owner Arrange one even help me with my huge suitcase up the stairs. He sort out the Dstv and keep on coming back until it work and just are such a great host. You feel like you are in an another world with the day bed and forest view. And although you have neighbours you don’t even hear or see them. Place for resting unwinding and near enough all the beautiful hikes. Warren even has help with where to to eat and explain to every thing so nicely and can see his passion for the place

This place was absolute heaven, the host was so accommodating and was there for whatever we needed. The house and rooms had everything you need. The special touches throughout the house was so comforting and welcoming.
A beautiful region, with excellent restaurants. The Grootrivier and (Western Cape part of) the Bloukrans River passes are exceptional, as is Nature's Valley.
The Birds of Eden is THE world leading bird conservancy -- the biggest anywhere with free flying birds in a magnificent forest with a beautiful kloof, waterfall ,,, The nearby Monkeyland and Jukani conservancies are also probably the best in Africa.
Thyme & Again restaurant is also a favourite.

This is definitely not a family holiday spot!
This is definitely not a family holiday spot! It could, at best, be a backpackers lodge. The water in the bathrooms was brownish, and although there were assurances that it was healthy, we were sceptical. The rooms were tiny and barely furnished. The kitchen is communal and almost 100 meters away from the rooms - very inconvenient for those rainy days! What about the toilet and bathroom outside the rooms! We had surely booked the wrong place, and stayed only for one night out of four.

Its a wonderful place to stay, especially since it is 18kms...
Its a wonderful place to stay, especially since it is 18kms from Plettenberg Bay, so its more serene than Plett over the height of summer. There is a lot to do in the vicinity. We loved our visits to the elephant sanctuary (an absolute must-do), the wolf sanctuary, Birds of Eden, Tenikwa (wildlife rehabilitation), Jukani (wildlife sanctuary, especially for Big Cats) and Monkeyland. There's a super water park (Adventureland) about 19kms away, with fabulous waterslides.
We made the mistake of not booking restaurants for dinner in advance. Over late December / early January most places were fully booked, which really limited our options and we spent a lot of time calling around, which we could have avoided. I would scout the restaurants and book well in advance next time.
Stunning surroundings and good location- close to wine estates nearby and short drive to Plett and Keurbooms. Very yummy breakfast provided. Lovely rooms which were well equipped, clean and cozy, with beautiful views! Amazing service by the host - very friendly and hospitable, and the website they set up is super helpful! It has recommendations of restaurants nearby/ things to do/ info about the accommodation etc. Would 100% recommend staying here for a lovely relaxed weekend.
This felt like a mix between staying at my mom's house after a long time away and a great hotel.
We stayed one night at Villa Villekula and it was fantastic. After just finishing the otter trail it really felt like we were spoilt with great hot showers, comfortable rooms and friendly service. The food is also fantastic and would recommend highly.

Beautiful farm close to Plettenberg Bay! The rooms are nicely designed, super quite and have a great view on the almond fields. Derek and Davina were super welcoming, explained a lot about the farm activities and gave us the real South African experience by inviting us to a family Braai! Derek is a great cook and breakfast was amazing as well! We would definitely recommend staying here!
The location is well located for Nature's Valley and the beautiful beach just down the road from the Lily Pond (short drive) and all the activities that are available in the area of the Crags.
The provided breakfast is excellent, while the evening cuisine is extremely good. The staff are all lovely and extremely helpful.
