The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view.
It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

We went primarily to meet a friend.
We went primarily to meet a friend. Apart from being the most southerly point in Africa, it doesn’t have much to recommend it compared to many other places. There are nice beaches and rocky shores and a small harbour, but many of those elsewhere. The lighthouse is worth a visit - but major construction taking place when we were there so no car park etc.. There are quite a few dirt roads in the area which, apart from offering a rough ride, make the car very dirty. The main access road is fine however.

Our trip was fantastic.
Our trip was fantastic. The welcome were received was very warm and the accommodation spacious and with a great outlook. Throughout our stay we felt very comfortable and our hosts gave us some great information about both dining and visiting.
My husband and I had an amazing time at the Country Lodge. I will recommend it to anyone who asks! The place is also perfect for bigger groups that may want to be together and have private rooms. We went there during the #capestorm and had to extend our stay by two extra nights as a result. Peter was fantastic and was always concerned for our safety. The photos do not show how amazing the breakfast is! I will be definitely staying there if we end up in Agulhas again. Peter and his team are truly exceptional.
It was perfect for my needs, with little extras from my hosts to make my stay easy and relaxing.
I was on my own after a long Vespa ride and just needed a hot shower and to relax and it met those needs and more. Although it was advertised as self catering, my hosts had provided a little milk, butter, jam, some bread and muesli, tea and coffee, even eggs and juice. That was much more than expected.
It's a beautiful, comfortable & clean little cottage with everything you need. The setup was convenient & easy. The garden with the different bird species was a bonus & being close to a few tourist attractions was the ideal place for a much needed holiday. The hostess was very hospitable & you can see that she takes pride in her business.
Sheryl and Allan are fantastic hosts, clean and comfortable, price and location, everything about this Bnb is worthwhile...experience the birds while eating breakfast .... relax in the tranquil garden as sun birds flutter around ... central to Struisbaai and Agulhas. Our 2nd stay and wont be our last....
Modern, well equipped, well maintained first floor apartment. Looks like photos. Absolutely enjoyed ocean views especially watching sunrise each morning from very comfortable couches. Short walking distance to restaurants and Lighthouse. Really enjoyed long walks from unit into national park.
I enjoyed my short stay at Spookdraai B&B, the breakfast was great and the place was quite easy to locate, close to Agulhas and Struisbaai center. Marshall is a great host and chef, he was very kind, engaging, knows his stuff and enjoys his work which makes it pleasant to interact with him.
- Great location. In a very secure neighborhood with everything close by.
- Exceptional hosts
- Snug and cosy space
- Agulhas is a great place and is worth spending an additional day that you anticipate. This property with it beautiful back garden is worth an extra breakfast in its lawn.
Beachcomber B&B was actually closed, so they had arranged for me to stay at Aguilus Ocean House, so my review is actually for Aguilus Ocean House, which was wonderful. The hosts were very nice, we had a great view of the ocean, and had a wonderful breakfast.
Agulhas has is a very nice and relaxing place to visit. You do feel like you are at the end of the continent. John and Suzie are very welcoming, and we did buy a couple of books at the unique second hand bookstore. Good restaurants in town, 10 minutes walk.
Lovely place! Great bed, amazing wifi, easy parking, super modern bathroom and all of this just a few minutes from the lighthouse! I loved that they had coffee grounds and a french press too instead of just instant coffee. Really nice touch!
Contactless check-in with clear instructions. Location was right by the lighthouse. Tea and coffee station was a lovely surprise including rusks. Lovely beach towels in a hand bag (obviously to be returned) and a wonderful picnic set.
We loved everything about Agulhas Ocean House. From the extremely warm welcome give to us by Sheryl and Allan when we arrived, to the beautiful and clean rooms with stunning views, to the delicious breakfast and personal service.
Great location close to Cape Agulhas, lovely room plus Liz was very friendly and accommodating of our late arrival due to traffic en-route. Perfect overnight stay for our brief stopover at the Southernmost part of Africa.
Comfortable for an easy-going family. Beds were comfortable and clean. The location was excellent with both Struisbaai and Agulhas easy to reach. We loved having the washing machine available.
Best location in Agulhas. The view and openness the accommodation provides is superb! There is nothing missing and the location is close to shops and restaurants
