I don't have much to tell as it was a very short stay because we were actually driving to York ford to attend a funeral, we decided to book while we were already on the road on our way to York Ford. but we are planning another trip to Bloemfontein during the holidays. The city looked great, and the people are friendly.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Bloemfontein was marked by disappointment due to widespread impact of corruption and incompetence. The city's infrastructure is deteriorating, and essential services are lacking. The once vibrant and beautiful city now struggles with issues that significantly affect the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. It's disheartening to see Bloemfontein in such a state, and I hope for positive changes in the future.

De Akker Guest House is centrally located, easily accessible, safe, comfortable and close to all amenities Bloemfontein has to offer.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. We were welcomed at our car door with a friendly smile and an umbrella to stay dry in die pouring rain.
The Guesthouse is beautifully renovated and decorated. The rooms have high quality linen and comfortable beds for a great sleep.

Location is great. Place is clean and tidy and has everything you need for self catering. Close to the highway and restaurants. My only suggestion is since Bloemfontein is a very cold place in winter to perhaps put a loose carpet or two in the unit to warm it up a bit under foot.
the breakfast was amazing, and staff were very understanding when I told them to package my breakfast as take ways. location was easily accessible as it was my first-time in Bloemfontein. I did not struggle with gate to get in guest house or stay long outside when I arrived.
