    Sabie is good weekend destination.

Sabie is good weekend destination. It has great scenic views and places to visit. Places like Lone Creek fall, Mac mac fall, God's window, Bourkes' Luck Potholes etc. One can also take a famous ride of Long tom Tobaggan ride.

Sabie is a breathtaking place that compels you to pause and take in the beauty around you, whether you're standing among the trees, admiring historic buildings, or simply marveling at the landscape. Perfectly situated, Sabie serves as an ideal base for exploration. I spent a day adventuring up Long Tom Pass to Misty Mountain for some exhilarating tobogganing, followed by a visit to the Forestry Museum. The displays were well-organized within a striking building, offering a glimpse into the area's history. Afterward, I picked up groceries at the local Spar, enjoyed a beer tasting and a delicious pizza at Sabie Brewery, and then returned to my chalet to relax by the fire with a small braai. The next day was equally eventful, starting with a thrilling experience at the Graskop Gorge Lift Company, where I explored the forest canopy and reveled in the natural surroundings. In the afternoon, I visited the silk farm outside of town, then took a scenic drive back through the forest, enjoying every moment. The following morning, I ventured out to Kruger National Park, just a couple of hours away, spending the day leisurely driving from Paul Kruger Gate to Crocodile Bridge. I stopped for a picnic and enjoyed the wildlife before heading back out through Malelane gate an hour before closing time. That evening, I savored some lip-smacking ribs at the Wild Fig Tree Restaurant, served by one of the friendliest waitresses I've ever met, before returning to my chalet for a final night’s rest. All in all, Sabie is a beautiful and centrally located destination that I would revisit in a heartbeat.

the availability of good tourist advice was lacking.

the availability of good tourist advice was lacking. We went to the Bridal falls the roads are shocking and directions poor. some of the roads in and around Sabie were in bad shape. We loved the Hops Hollow Beers are spectacular. day trips to Pilgrims, Pot Holes and God Window were average because of the crowds. Great driving and sightseeing. we ran out of time to do the Tabogan in Long Tom. Woodsman has the best value for money food and pub fare. Great facilities for Bikers! Secure parking. Tourism needs to step up and sell this area as the pivotal venue for the touring, great base to work from with amazing facilties that we had to scratch to find. there were brochures for a few of the venues, but no readliy available advice.

An excellent place to find yourself in nature, I would say it would be better experienced outside of the rain season, but if you do decide to go within the rain season, make sure to pack enough clean clothing, But still super fun to hike in the rain, so beautiful so green.

Sabie is a lovely little town and we really enjoyed our stay. The vendors can be a bit of a bother when moving through the town as well as the local drivers are impatient, but over all we will definitely be seeing Sabie again in the future.

Kestell adventures offers great activities that we utilized. Very small town so its fine to stay for a weekend and experience but not much longer, if you not doing adventures activities, not much else to do.

Pool and lounge spaces are very nice. Living and breakfast rooms are well decorated. Hotel team friendly and professional. No diner there but they can advise for a great restaurant in Sabie. They trust the customers as the bar is in mode "help yourself". Just write what it is consumed.
