Staff were excellent. Always cheery and helpful tips for our stay. Location is moments walk from the beach. Breakfast had plenty of choice, hot options served to table.

Such an amazing and especial place. The staff, the food and the details. Everytime we left to have dinner, they manage to keep the bed cozy and hot for us to get back. Such an amazing staff.
The property is beyond beautiful, you can see some wildlife and the restaurants are high quality.
11/10, recommend it with my eyes closed.

This is a special place! We had not expected the amount of thought and attention to detail given to the architecture overlooking the tree canopy and the presentation of the suites. the staff were all amazing and i regret to say I didn't pay enough attention to names but the young lady with the welcoming smile and the warm and wonderful sense of humour who showed us round on arrival was wonderful and such a joy to meet on arrival. Also the lady who lit such a wonderful fire in our room deserves a special mention. However it important to say that all the staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing, including a birthday surprise of cakes. This truly is a small piece of heaven of earth! Thank you

This is a must in this area! Make sure you go in the morning as the weather conditions are changing from 2pm and part of the island is closed. We experienced the most amazing sunset together with a rainbow!

Wear closed shoes maybe - other than that such a great place in terms of nature and beaches.
great for 3/4 hours of staying with middle hike - or a little longer for the whole tour (9.2 km)

Lairds Lodge is a beautiful stylish property. Our rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We stayed two nights and had dinner both nights, it was that delicious! We really enjoyed going to the bar to have a drink before dinner after hiking in the Robberg nature reserve and exploring Plettenberg Bay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Lairds Lodge!

Great location if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of town. It is on an Eco Estate and everything is eco-friendly. We went for an amazing walk along the cliffs and fynbos looking out to Robberg Nature Reserve. Sitting out on the porch with a bond fire was special and we could see loads of stars. The price and location were perfect for the 1-night stay on our road trip along the Garden Route.

The flat was really nice! Big rooms, big kitchen with everything you need, everything was clean, big terasse with a barbecue. We could use the pool upstairs which was fantastic.
The location is central, you dont have to drive long to a supermarket and the Robberg Nature Reserve is nearby.

Well located, not far from the Robberg nature reserve (10 mins by car). Restaurants, a gas station and a market nearby (300m distance). Big room and a enormous bathroom. Good breakfast delivery in the room. A place to park in front of the hotel. Great staff. Great value for the money.
We really wanted to visit the Robberg Nature Reserve and Dolphins Playground was just 7 minutes drive. It had a great view of the ocean and a gorgeous deck, unfortunately the weather had turned and we couldn't make the most of it, but we could imagine it. Pam greeted us warmly and shared a wealth of local knowledge about the reserve, restaurants and local area.
The hostess, Bettina is absolutely amazing. The place is fantastic and the view is absolutely beautiful. The only thing is that the road to access the property is a little bit ‘rustic’ but you don’t need a 4x4 to get there, so is a perfect place to stay once you are enjoying the Robberg Nature reserve (its really close to the reserve main gate)
The room was lovely and incredibly spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. The breakfast was delicious (I had the health breakfast option and the muesli was to die for). The staff were polite and friendly. We only stayed for one night and didn't make use of the pool facilities or gardens, but they looked very nice from what we could see. Visiting the Robberg Nature Reserve is an absolute MUST for any visitors to Plettenberg Bay (photos attached)!
