As we were the only guests for that night we ended up with a suite which was great- but it was in the original thatched cottage- which we loved- but if you wanted modern this would not be for you. Breakfast was good- and dinner there the night before was okay, but obviously as it was only us I think they limited the menu. Still a good choice and more than we could eat.
Let us leave our car in the secure parking whilst we took in the two tourist attractions at the end of the street 👍🏻

The welcome was exceptional and all staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Our dinner and breakfast were superb! Accommodation was clean, top class and very comfortable beds. Great game drives, and so lovely to have a little sundowner and snack while out on tour. As we were celebrating my mom's 75th birthday, she was greeted at the entrance gate with a beautiful Happy Birthday being sung to her. Everybody made us feel so special and nothing was too much trouble.

This place is the perfect place to stay if you stop in Albertinia to visit the Garden Route Gane lodge. The bed and breakfast is hosted by two wonderful people, probably the kindest that I ever met in my life. Rooms are large, breakfast is good and the garden is amazing.
