Dinner was excellent and we had a good breakfast. The staff is exceptional. Linda at the main desk and Felicity in the restaurant were just lovely.
Just a stones' throw from the main road coming into Upington, very comfortable and quiet, perfect for a stayover before entering Kgalagadi... Bonus, close to our favourite restaurant, Die Kerkmuis and Orange River Cellars tasting room, dispensing my favourite gin from Die Mas distillery...
We found Country Lodge to be the most exquisite place to stay. The property is decorated with quirky African art and is a definite eye catcher. The young manager couldn't do enough to help us and she even drove us out and back to Orange River Cellars and even had time to give us a quick tour of the town! Breakfast was excellent
This place suited our needs 100%. Perfect stop off for the night. Orange River Cellars for supper - top class.
Accommodation clean and very welcoming. Bed and linen perfect. Nothing negative to say!
