Allan on reception was an absolute superstar and gave us so many good tips - in Kynsna and beyond to our next locations! All the recommendations were spot on! Best breakfast ever, good location, friendly staff
Very clean, well-organised and comfortable guesthouse with breathtaking view. The staff went out of their way to assist with a shuttle to the Knysna Forest Run.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel for the weekend. The location was perfect. I parked my car and walked around for the rest of the weekend. My room was clean, and the attention to detail was very thoughtful. The staff was friendly, and they went out of their way to accommodate the guests that participated in the Knysna Forest Marathon over the weekend.
Great location and friendly staff. The property is a real gem and we would happily return here for another stay. An added bonus is the little cafe across the road, and the Piza e Vino where we could order pizzas after running the Knysna Forest marathon.
This is not the place if you're expecting hotel standards and convenience. BUT if you want to experience the Knysna forest in a raw and beautiful way, this is definitely the place to be. Amazing walks and places to explore, places to swim and even a warm clay bath under the stars!
The TP's are basic, but everything you need. Wood is delivered when needed at a very reasonable price and the staff was extremely helpful and always available. We will definitely be back again, 3 days wasn't enough to experience everything!
