Never have I encountered such awesome staff - the community of Franschhoek shines through. The breakfast was excellent. The property was in walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and most importantly, the Franschhoek wine tram. We were fortunate enough to get driven there by our host. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful and had loads of suggestions on what to do around Franschhoek. We really enjoyed our stay at Petit Ermitage! The bed was comfortable, the shower was spectacular and the rest of the place was very cosy. Everything was well thought out and executed.

Great central location, you can walk to the Main Street, the supermarkets and restaurants. The Franschhoek Wine Tram terminal is about 900m away. So, it is a very central location which is perfect.

An absolutely idyllic boutique hotel located very close to the franschhoek wine tram and franschhoek town. The staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are decorated with beautiful touches that really make this accommodation stand out as 10/10. The garden and pool area are immaculately manicured and filled with beautiful flowers. We would definitely recommend this as an outstanding place to stay whilst visiting franschhoek. We absolutely loved Corner House. The location is fantastic and safe, with the Franschhoek Wine Tram a 5 minute walk down the road. The rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and could leave our baggage at reception. The breakfast, MCC and everything about this place is top-notch!

Location was ideal since it was close to the Franschhoek wine tram which was the main reason for our visit. The accommodation was comfortable and the facilities made us feel unaffected by loadshedding.

The studio was really cosy and private. Such a comfortable bed with electric blankets too in case it is chilly. It was so nice to have the kitchen facilities for making tea in the morning and you can cook your own meals if you want to. The location is perfect - so close to restaurants and Franschhoek wine tram. Beautiful part of town and great for walks :)

The property was fantastic - Bigger than we'd expected, perfectly comfortable and spacious - with a beautiful patio & pool overlooking the lovely sheep! It was beautifully situated within a short walk from the Franschhoek Wine Tram Terminal and the town - it was truly a dream location and made our trip so fuss-free. Ferdi was kind enough to allow us to park our car on-site before the tram departure, which really helped us relax knowing our vehicle was secure for the day.

Lovely little house just next to the church. I chose it because it is within walking distance of the Franschhoek Wine Tram. The hosts are delightful, and there is a sweet dog as well. The room itself was gorgeous, very comfy, and - a rarity in South Africa - they made sure the wifi works during load shedding too! I'd love to stay here again.

Easy walking distance to main street for fabulous restaurants. Also 4min walk to start of Franschhoek Wine Tram Station. Kay the housekeeper was very helpful and friendly. Fantastic stay. Really safe and secure venue.
