We had a lovely stay at Avonsrus. It is just what you need after a long day on the road - clean, fresh and friendly. It is very comfortable that each room has its own bathroom. The braai area outside is also great. We visited Augrabies Waterfalls and it was very worthwhile. Even in the drought it is still a spectacle to behold and much more water than we expected. On Jaco's recommendation we also drove to Moon Rock and Oranjekom. This will probably not be possible if it is very wet since we crossed a few low water bridges with some water over the road, but we enjoyed the drive and sights very much. Oranjekom particularly is a beautiful site.

The accommodation was very clean, spacious, the swimming pool was divine. The nature and tranquility of the place was amazing. Our host was delightful and extremely knowledgeable. If it was closer to our home we would be there every weekend. The landscape is absolutely gorgeous.

The Falls is a truly a little gem. Our main aim was to go to Augrabies Waterfalls and they are directly opposite the entrance road. So location was perfect. Also the rooms were nice and cozy with a modern touch. Really enjoyed my stay.
Hospitality and friendliness of the owners and manager was excellent. Golf course was a huge challenging experience. Augrabies waterfalls great experience.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. The main purpose of our stay was to visit the Augrabies waterfalls, the location was 100% and just outside of the Augrabies National park. The Falls Guest house can be recommended for an extended stay over.
