Fantastic hotel located in the heart of the old quarter surrounded by great cafes, street food and restaurants all within walking distance. Although in the the busy area this hotel is very quiet and peaceful. It's brand new and spotlessly clean, within a distinct 1920s style. The staff all speak very good English and are very friendly and welcoming - especially Sunny and the other lady serving breakfast each morning. It's very reasonably priced at the moment, probably because it's new and doesn't have many reviews yet. Motorbike rental was 250k per day. Our room was a good size and very quiet at night, we stayed in room 501. Early checkin and late checkout were accommodated will helped us with our onward travel.

Only open early morning to mid-day - do this as your first walk, on the way I crossed train street which was a great stop - check train times and you may be lucky to time it for early afternoon after your trip to the mausoleum for a drink/snack and train spotting experience

Pure propaganda! It appears that there are paid “mourners” that keep the lines going. A huge amount of propaganda is spewed about HCM while the residents of Hanoi suffer from extreme poverty and miserable working conditions.
