The loveliest staff we have experienced in Hanoi. We were allowed to check in early and received a room upgrade. The room was very quiet. Only open early morning to mid-day - do this as your first walk, on the way I crossed train street which was a great stop - check train times and you may be lucky to time it for early afternoon after your trip to the mausoleum for a drink/snack and train spotting experience

Pure propaganda! It appears that there are paid “mourners” that keep the lines going. A huge amount of propaganda is spewed about HCM while the residents of Hanoi suffer from extreme poverty and miserable working conditions.
