We were given a room on the top floor with a balcony and a great view of the city. The staff are exceptionally helpful and speak very good English, especially Sophia. Breakfast was a nice selection, with some menu items available to order. It's centrally located, making it very easy to explore and enjoy the city on foot. The shower had good heat and pressure and the A.C. worked great.

The staff at Emerald Waters Hotel Valley were exceptionally kind and accommodating. Grace had worked with us before and did a fabulous job booking a tour to Ninh Binh with a great guide (Heritage Tours, guide Sophia) and Tracy was extremely helpful at the front desk. Great location, lovely staff, comfortable, quiet rooms.

I stayed for four nights. The location is excellent, very close to the lake and multiple shopping streets, popular cafes, the water puppet theater. You get ample privacy and silence from the sounds and sights once you enter. Moreover the hotel staff including Lily were all lovely and super helpful, right from before I checked in, helping me out with a map, tips, booking me a trip to Ninh Binh and a food tour, lending me an umbrella and helping exchange currency. I felt at ease. The bed was comfortable and my bathroom came with a tub. The room was spacious enough for one person, very clean and room service was provided everyday. I would definitely stay here again if I visit again.
