For the most part I liked staying here, but it could use a few improvements
The ocean view from my window, breathtaking.
The little wood stove. Fabulous.
Big table and lots of chairs was nice have, as well as, a dvd/CD player hooked up.
So glad the windows, range and frig. were all in working order.

The Tillamook Cheese Factory was well organized with small and large details of their cheese making process. Very educational. They give tiny sample packages of the popular cheddar cheese. You have the opportunity to purchase their ice cream, either with a simple single cone or a full flight of 3 flavors. A great way to treat your sweet tooth. There is a counter for a few food items also, but we didn't try any, so I can't comment on them.

I preferred the factory before the big remodel! We find that the prices have skyrocketed, it is not very handicapped friendly, and generally, we were disappointed, and miss the old factory. Also, the parking is difficult, and the crowds can be intimidating.

I liked the factory, but the people were way to over board...
I liked the factory, but the people were way to over board with pushing people around that were just sitting quietly away from others trying to eat the over priced food they had ordered, a bit like the Gestapo.

This has been completely re-done for tourists.
This has been completely re-done for tourists. While it was "better" when more provincial, it's still a fun visit as long as expectations are limited. Bottom Line: There is nothing there that you can't get at your local supermarket! (Sometimes they have limited edition aged chedder only available at the Factory - that's worth the stop!)
