The location is good, close to the city center and main attractions. It costs about $65 one-way from Seattle Tacoma International Airport by taxi. Room and bathroom is large enough and in pretty good condition. The view from the room was nice facing the Seattle Times building. Loved my stay at The Graduate - the reception staff were all very kind and helpful. As I'm writing this about a month later, I forget their name but one of them was exceptionally so and she gave me, I believe, 4 sides of A4 of ideas/sights to check out in Seattle (which were all fantastic and really made me feel like I got the most out of my visit!). There is an excellent coffee shop connected to the building via the lobby and the subway/metro is practically just across the street so it was no trouble at all getting to the hotel in the first place from the airport and then later reaching the train station or heading into the city proper. The room was decorated in a really cool way and had everything I needed personally.

I was very disappointed in Seattle. Lots of unfortunate people on the streets, living rough; lots of drug addiction. I found it worse than San Francisco.
Seattle was very expensive, and very grasping for tips, even before you've even been served a sandwich! Two Seattle taxi apps want you to set a tip before the taxi is confirmed. Use Uber, as you have a tip option AFTER the ride. In a couple of restaurants we found that staff will play on your heart strings to get a tip out of you.
The bay area was beautiful, but the prices for food etc are high.

It is a beautiful city but unfortunately there seemed to be a lot of "street people" yelling and screaming outside at night. As women travellers we did not feel particularly safe outside after dark. Since we were only there one night, on the way to our cruise we didn't take in many sights but Chihuly Gardens was exceptional. Ubers were always on time when booked ahead.

Beautiful city with excellent views of the snowclad mountains and the attractions around the harbor. However, the area in and around downtown Seattle/Pikes Place Market has a lot of homeless people and at time felt unsafe and very unclean. We are not going back to Seattle in near future.

Lots to do. Went to a Seattle Mariners baseball game. Drove to Anacortes and took the ferry to the San Juan islands. Could have stayed on the island for a few days enjoying the nature. Drove to Mt. Rainier for the day. Beautiful area.

We truly enjoyed our 3 day stay in Seattle - we could've stayed longer but we know we can always come back as it is just a 3 hour drive from Vancouver.
The people we met were all friendly and accommodating. Made a few friends in the process!
Seattle is one of those cities that is meant to be explored leisurely!
We also enjoyed our ferry ride to and back from the beautiful Bainbridge Island.

Pike Place Market interesting to visit but fruit prices over the top way too expensive. Would never buy there again. Did Beneath The Streets underground tour and the tour guide was knowledgeable and informative and factual. Waterfront area views pleasant. We took a taxi from accommodation to sights as it was cheap to do that and go directly to what we wanted to see as the streets were sloped in areas and harder for over 60 yo's to walk. Space Needle was on the to do list and Chulilly gardens but did not have enough time in the 2 days we had. Enjoyed lunch at Buckleys cnr of 2nd Avenue. Great food and value for money. Great service and good atmosphere and decor.
One of the best priced hotels in downtown with seriously the the best facilities. I had an alimony in seattle and decided to make it a relaxing getaway as well so the facilities were a big deal. Didn’t disappoint with MULTIPLE pools, steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs and even a plunge pool at no extra cost. The workout facilities were excellent, The rooms were more than well equipped with a full size fridge/freezer, stove, oven and a large deck for hanging.
Everything was clean and beautiful. My family and I were a little bit hesitant about downtown Seattle because of all the bad things that had happened just year and we were not sure if we would be safe, BUT we were so wrong and felt COMPLETELY SAFE, we even walked on the streets of downtown Seattle WITHOUT any threat of safety. I and my entire family would recommend your hotel Hyatt at Olive 8 to anyone coming to Seattle.LOVE IT!!!
Our room, already at a good rate, was upgraded because they had the space! Staff welcoming and helpful with checkin, parking and closeby restaurant information. Elevator was very nice. Location perfect for the purpose of our stay. Restaurant in hotel was very good for breakfast and we enjoyed the menu and atmosphere. This hotel is situated in a safe, excellent location right next to the University of Washington campus. It is also a 5 minute walk to the metro line making it easy to access both downtown and the airport. The hotel and room were clean, comfortable and well equipped. Complimentary water bottles on request were very useful, particularly for short stays. We would happily stay again
The hotel was in a great location right off the freeway, but not so close the freeway sounds were easily audible. The hotel was beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you'd want. The staff were all wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Good food in the restaurant and a nice bar too. Most of downtown Seattle is within easy walking distance.
Good location for easy access to train to airport, Pike Place market and waterfront. Check in was quick and staff helpfully allowed early access to room which was much appreciated after long flight. Also provided a tea kettle when requested. Room was comfortable and well equipped. The building has an old style charm and provides a relaxing change from downtown Seattle
If you like a vintage and nostalgic hotel that is very well maintained this is the place. The staff is professional and provides excellent service. The location is in the heart of downtown Seattle close to the financial district, Capitol, Hill and the harbor. My wife and I enjoyed this hotel very much especially the food and spirits at the Polar Bear Lounge.
Room with basic facilities in guesthouse with shared kitchen and exclusive bathroom. Clean, convenient, quiet house in a quiet neighbourhood near park. 6 min walk to Othello tram station. The tram takes you either to the airport or into downtown Seattle. The manager of the facility responded fairly quickly to my messages via Booking.com.
Breakfast was varied and kept well stocked and tables were quickly cleared and cleaned. Location is great for Seattle although area is a downtown one so a bit gritty. There are homeless people around although no one bothered us. Staff in the hotel were exceptionally pleasant and helpful and created a very pleasant atmosphere.
The hotel (first time stay for me) was very near Benaroya for our evening concert and that was a big plus and the important attraction for us. It's fairly basic, nothing fancy, but our room (two queens) was spacious and clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. Good value for the price in downtown Seattle.
Spacious, well kept room in floor 23 - Amazing city view. The bed is a dream come true, the hotel is perfectly located in downtown Seattle, close to everything you need for a perfect stay. Classy and sober decoration as you would expect from Hilton. Coffee and high quality amenities in the room are a plus.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location couldn't have been better. We were going to a game across the street and it was an easy drive to get to downtown or the freeway from the hotel! I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Seattle!
