The property and the view were amazing. The host was very kind and helpful. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed and everything was clean. We even ended up modifying our plans to stay one more night!

I sure everyone knows this, but don’t go in the summer if you plan on hiking. My trip here wasn’t planned, so I made the best of it and did some sight seeing. I had to get up and get any hiking done by 11am each day because of the heat. People die out here all the time from the heat. 115-125 in August. At Joshua Tree, it’s posted at every entrance to the park: “Do Not Die Today”.
I was told that springtime is just beautiful here, so we’re planning a trip for late March so we can actually camp and hike each day.
Even with the limited sights I was able to enjoy, it was breathtakingly beautiful and I cannot wait time come back again.
