We visited Savannah with our son for a school convention. The Hotel is 15 minutes from the Convention Center so the location was perfect. The reception, cleaning and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful all the time. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We couldn't enjoy the pool but it looked clean and nice. The Hotel is also very close to places of tourist interest. It has a service station in front with a very complete grocery store, as well as many restaurants around. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully decorated building in a pretty handy location on the edge of the 'downtown'. The free shuttle was good too, but only available from the afternoon onwards.

Breakfast was not good.
Location was fair.
Did not get checked in until 5:30! Check in is 4:00.
Our room was not cleaned the entire stay. We had NO fresh towels. The trash was not removed. No new coffee packs or soap brought in. You had to flush the toilet 2 to 3 times for it to flush out. The noise above us and in the room beside us was terrible.
We knew they only cleaned every other day but at 5:00 PM the day they were to come in our room had not been touched. I tried calling the front desk for over an hour and no one answered. The housekeeping mailbox was full. Finally around 6:30 we were assured our room would be cleaned. We went to dinner. At 8:30 PM we had some towels on the sofa and a couple on the bathroom cleaner. Both trash and were still overflowing. No soap. No coffee. Nothing had been touched. Tried calling the front desk again with no answer. There were people still trying to get in their rooms at 6:45. They told us there were no sheets for the beds??????
Our visit was a nightmare. This hotel is very poorly managed. We actually saw the maids in 2 rooms with the tv’s on watching them.
We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and have never seen such chaos. No professional employees. No apologies. No nothing. We spent $1300.00 and had Motel 6 experience. Totally unacceptable. Had to park at Embassy Suites parking garage. Walk through their lobby to walk back to Hampton Inn.

I think the most disappointing thing about tourist cities is that they take full advantage of visitors. They also need to clean up the homeless people. Even though Paula deen's restaurant is extremely high I think it is still the best value for restaurants.

Loved the museums, hop on hop off trolley was very informative, the squares were wonderful and the statues. Refreshing to see a town that treasures it's history and doesn't try to dismantle it.. go to Clarys, but avoid the well known names. Best restaurant was small Mexican place. Regretfully didn't make note of name. The free DOT bus was great for getting to waterfront area
For the price and the location of this hotel it has to be one of the best around. We were able to walk to every place we wanted to go downtown and never had to worry about where we would be able to park our car or how long it would take to get back to our hotel. We were conveniently located about 2 blocks from River street. Also of all the surrounding hotels, Quality inn has the cheapest parking rate. The staff was all very friendly and helpful and a security guard could be noticed walking around the hotel at all hours.
the hotel is very nice, trendy, comfortable.
amenities are excellent, great terrasse and swimming pool as well
staff is very nice
rooms ate comfortable and large space, with everything that we need
location is nice, even if it’s not in town, it is very easy to access the restaurants and downtown Savannah in walking distance along the river, it’s a great promenade at night!
several restaurants and bars, music, rooftop.. everything available for everyone
Perfect location. It felt like we were at home with how cozy it was. Our group was able to easily and quickly get anywhere in downtown Savannah by walking. Also, parking at the Whitaker street garage worked out great and was much cheaper than any hotel nearby. Not only were the bathrooms full of everything you needed but the washer and dryer were stocked as well. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was updated and had everything you needed.
i stayed a week by myself, when I came to drop my daughter off to SCAD. i found the location ti be perfect, in a slightly less busy part of riverstreet, hence not as noisy. But it had everything within 5-20min walking distance, around downtown and historic district. The hotel staff was very friendly, the property was clean and very safe. I’m definitely staying there again, on our next visit.
Loved the Trivia Nights (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and have to give a special shout out to Mr. Carleton who welcomes guests to the hotel and is always there with an amazingly cheerful demeanor, he truly is a joy to talk to. And Wayne who leads trivia Night as well as other functions is great and always available for recommendations for restaurants and things to see around Savannah.
Overall the room was cheap, clean and updated. There was a desk and chair available. Hotel was conveniently located to a drug store, fast food places and a major highway (5 miles) that leads directly into downtown Savannah. The wifi worked well. On this trip, me and my fellow travelers were gone for must of the stay and only used the room to crash and sleep at night.
The breakfast had no milk for the cereal 2 mornings out of 3. Went down at time stated for breakfast, lady just starting the oatmeal so it was no where near ready. It was a shame because they had many great toppings for the oatmeal. Manager stated delivery trucks not coming for many Savannah area hotels/restaurants. I say go to Kroger and pick up some milk.
I jumped from one hotel to another in Savannah everytime i go. After some bad experiences, i chose this one that was the cheaper in booking. ¡Awesome for a low cost hotel!
The hotel is new, the personal is kind it has a work zone, free coffee, i will return again.
I paid 60% less than the hotel i was last week and this one was much better.
New hotel. Very clean. Really nice breakfast items. The location was about 20 minutes from Downtown Savannah and all freeway access with some delays due to construction. The hotel offers very nice Shampoo and body wash in the showers and I loved that extra touch. I highly recommend this hotel.
It was the cheapest hotel (more of a motel really) available in the downtown Savannah area for the dates I needed and turned out to be pretty good. If you like "hip" then it might be even great for you. I was just happy with comfortable beds, a clean room, and friendly staff.
Good Location for parks and downtown, plenty of parking at the hotel location. The hotel breakfast is one the best we've seen in a long time. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the room and the availability of having a small kitchen.
The location from this hotel to and from Tybee as well as downtown Savannah was great. The staff was friendly. Easy to check in and out. It was quiet and we did not hear any neighbors next to us or anything in the hallways so that was nice.
The location was amazing. You can walk pretty much anywhere downtown. The price was the lowest in the area so that was a plus and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Besides the location, they may have been the best part of the stay.
Beautifully renovated property evoking the height of Savannah’s prosperous past.
Quiet location, conveniently located for Forsyth Park and 20 minutes walk from Downtown.
Michael was a very welcoming host.
Delicious breakfast.
Location and the proximity to downtown Savannah.
Parking availablilty.
Pool area looked nice though it was already closed when we checked in.
Leaving was the best part. Would never return to this La Quinta.
The hotel is very new and well taken care of. Really good breakfast and location!
20 minutes and you are in downtown Savannah!
Also good restaurants around within walking distance.
It's small hotel, Good for those who need just stay for sleeping place. You have to drive about 20 minutes by highway to Savannah downtown. Staff were friendly and helpful.
