Love the market and make sure to hit it every time I get to Seattle. There is a plethora of fruits, veggies and baked goods to suit any palate there. Always eat too much when we visit! The views are spectacular and the market is lively with music and street performers of all kinds. A very "up" place to spend time. Anything you can think of that you could want, you can probably find there.

It is massive!
It is massive! Shop around before making purchases...local goods cost more because they take pride in their artisanal work. Mass produced souvenirs costs vary...check around before buying since some vendors are way too expensive for cheapo souvenirs.

Pike Place Chowder's line can get really long.
Pike Place Chowder's line can get really long. My best advice is to download their app to make your order & then pick it up to go. Otherwise, I definitely recommend coming to Pike Place hungry & ready to explore, as there are so many things to try & so many great options, including Beecher's Handmade Cheese.

Dress comfortably most of the place is indoors with no air.
Dress comfortably most of the place is indoors with no air. The smells of fresh fish can become a bit much in a very crowded hot areas. Be careful of pick pickets. Lines for restaurants can be 1.5 hours long. That's for lunch. They close at 6

IT was fabulous.
IT was fabulous. I found some unique paintings of China which were being painted in front of my eyes. I bought three matted paintings.
I also bought some unique earrings.
And we bought flowers for people we were going to visit; plus smoked salmon and a variety of cheeses.

Really big market.
Really big market. We went before 9:00 to see the fish throwing but no one was doing that while we were there. Lots of booths being set up. Lots of flowers, foods, gifts, jewelry, artwork, but SO expensive. We just enjoyed looking, but when it got really busy with tourists, we went to a little park at the end end of the market and sat in the sun, fed the birds, watched the people and activity on the water, and avoided the crowds.

The location is incredible, almost inside the Pike Place Market. There are lots of things to do around the apartment. The place was clean and nice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well.
I am so glad I booked this hotel when in Seattle for a conference. The location is fantastic - a 5 minute walk to Pike Place Market and the Seattle Art Museum, close to shops (Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and Uniqlo) and to a few restaurants. I enjoyed the old-school quiet comfort, the comfortable bed and extremely clean room and bathroom, and the friendly staff. The breakfasts in the hotel restaurant are very good, and I enjoyed drinks and a couple of pleasant dinners in Oliver's Bar. Excellent value for money!
The hotel is gorgeous with a really good vibe. The location is amazing, right by Pike Place Market. Loved the original art work in the room and throughout the hotel.
The staff at The Sound Hotel were friendly, helpful and very easy to deal with. The hotel is modern and the rooms were large and well decorated. The hotel is in a great location between the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, so we could easily walk everywhere (or Uber if we were feeling a little lazy).
The apartment was really well equipped, clean and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable. I had a fantastic view of the sound and Pike Place Market. There are no staff on site but instructions to access the apartment were clear and everything worked well
The hotel is located in walking distance to Seattle Center (Space Needle) and even Pike Place Market is only 1.5 miles away with bus stops direct at the hotel. There are a lot of great restaurants as well as some dive bars in the vicinity. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful upon checking in. The room was very spacoius with a semi-separate seating area as well as a small kitchen with a large refrigerator. The price is high but around that what one can expect from a hotel in a big city.
The bed was comfortable, the room was well stocked and clean and the front desk staff was one of the friendliest I ever encountered. We happened to be there during the wine happy hour and the front desk staff poured us a complimentary glass of wine! Close to the monorail and Pike Place Market, this hotel exceeded my expectations.
The Arctic Club hotel exceeded my expectations. First of all, the staff was excellent. Welcoming and accommodating front desk and valet. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy walk to Pike Place Market and T-Mobile Park. Interesting history and design.
