Several great art museums, plus several downtown art installations were also fun. Walking along the river was quite nice, and over it too, walking across one of several bridges. There was a lovely theatre across a bridge on a land strip in the middle of the river, st. anthony main theater I think. Artsy films, out of the mainstream. Saw a really weird one. Enjoyed immensely. Walked all over town. Walker Museum, Art Institute, Sculpture Garden.

Minneapolis has a lot going on and a lot to offer, but I detest driving in this city. It's one big spaghetti knot, and even my GPS got confused. When I was there in winter for a concert, the city put NO melting agent on super icy roads (possibly because the Mississippi River is nearby), and there were over a dozen accidents or cars off the roads. You could only travel about 35 in 65 mph zones, and we were late for the concert.
The city is very eco-conscious, which I deeply admire.

We loved Minneapolis!
We loved Minneapolis! There was lots to do outside (fantastic park system, Mississippi River, water falls ...) and many breweries and distilleries and restaurants to explore. The Mall of America is certainly that! We had a lot of fun!

We were in town just for an overnight visit.
We were in town just for an overnight visit. We went to Birchbark Books an independent, local bookstore and an excellent one at that. Then had dinner at Owamni which was amazing and delicious. The next day we drove out to Chanhassen to Paisley Park for the Prince tour and it was worth every penny.

Hotel was hard to find, not enough signage at ground level.
Hotel was hard to find, not enough signage at ground level. Parking was expensive and the cost was not mentioned at time of booking. After unpacking we had to move rooms as the toilet was not working. The TV remote not working (it was quickly fixed), some light bulbs burned out, the floor and furniture was stained. Overall we were disappointed. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

WE WERE ONLY THERE FOR FOLLOW-UP AFTER A TRANSPLANT IN AUGUST AND FURTHER RESEARCH AND DUE TO ALL THE MEDICAL BILLS INCURRED, WE WERE UNABLE TO RENT A CAR TO REALLY SEE THE CITY. MAYBE WHEN WE GO BACK THIS SUMMER.
The hotel location was excellent with eateries and shopping on a walking distance. Hotel was very well kept and clean. It is a bit old but clean. The breakfast was good, they had eggs and some meat either ham or chicken/cheese mini taco, I loved the min tacos. The break selection was decent, coffee was good. Although they keep the coffee the whole day but other than breakfast time the coffee was not fresh or even hot. If I get a cup of coffee in the afternoon, I had to heat it in the microwave and taste was bitter due to old.
The location was excellent for getting around Minneapolis. The urban setting with the river, trees and paths was special. The furnishings will unqiuely retro, well-cared for, and very much like my favoriate places in Europe. The staff were welcoming and responsive with a sense of humor. The food was interesting and delicious in how the ingredients were combined.
Wonderful stay!! Highly worth supporting this local business. I'd way rather stay here in this incredibly nice, cozy and comfortable bed and breakfast than going to any chained hotel. I felt like I was home and incredibly comfortable the entire time. I would highly recommend for your next stay in Minneapolis.
Great location for downtown Minneapolis with easy access from the freeway. The front desk guy was amazing - it was like he knew what we needed before we even asked. Breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and bright. Our room was so clean that it smelled fresh.
The person that was at check in on Saturday the 16th about 1:30 pm when i arrived was awesome and extremely helpful. The location to the event i was going were close and an easy walk.Loved the area and Hotel hope to come back and would highly recommend.
I loved visiting this hotel centrally located in the vibrant center of Minneapolis. The hotel also has conference facilities, lots of amenities and the rooms have generous space and big beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is very easy.
The hotel is located downtown Minneapolis, in the heart of the city. We are a mature couple that travelled with our dog this time and we enjoyed our suite in terms of size, design and cleanliness, as well as we liked the friendly staff at the reception.
The room was large and comfortable. The location is downtown Minneapolis with lots of public transportation options, so it was great as I didn't rent a car. I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as they didn't have any vegan options.
The rooms were very well decorated, everything still quite new. Nice shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar area. no breakfast at the hotel but free and pretty good filter coffee is provided. The location is good too.
Excellent location to walk to Target Center or Target Field! The restaurant attached was also great! Friendly & very helpful staff. I would highly recommend Embassy Suites by Hilton and this hotel in the heart of Minneapolis!
The room was very big and very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. The location was very convenient to reach the Minneapolis convention center by foot.
My corner room was nice and quiet. I also enjoyed the view of the river. The inn was so close to downtown Minneapolis and yet it felt like a world away.
