InterContinental Minneapolis - St. Paul Airport, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Minneapolis

Connected to the Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport, InterContinental Minneapolis - St. Paul Airport has a fitness centre and free WiFi.

The location on the airport grounds is why we chose it, though the walk was a bit far. The decor is very tasteful. The bed and sheets were fantastic. Breakfast was great.

Great city with lots to explore and good public transport overall. The Metro was a bit sketchy coming from airport to down town late at night but otherwise felt very safe. Target field great for baseball fans

The North Loop had plenty to offer.

The North Loop had plenty to offer. We had a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Ride shares were quick. Overall things looked clean and well kept. There were a lot of people out and about for a hot summer Friday!

Minneapolis was a surprise for us coming from Florida.

Minneapolis was a surprise for us coming from Florida. It was summer but not too hot weather and the city was fabulous, so many beautiful buildings, museums , restaurants and the longest sky way in the world 9.5 miles! Parks and so clean streets! The university was extremely interesting and the educational system offering - as I heard - the extra money to the families earning less that 80K after FAFSA gave extra points to the city. If we had a car it would have been better so we could go out of the city to the twin city too. Saint Paul, the other town. It is intriguing and I may have to come back to discover more! The only disturbing was the lack of bathrooms in the downtown area.

Lots of attractions, traffic is not too bad except for a short rush hour. Several free attractions. Lots of art and sports and a huge number of embedded parks in the city - There is a gorgeous waterfall only a short way from downtown, and you could believe you were miles into the wild when you stand there. Good history attractions for the midwest. Nice people by in large.

The green alternatives for travel were amazing!

The green alternatives for travel were amazing! I loved using the rentable scooters to get around and wish my city had them. There were some areas of town that were dirtier than others, and the homeless deterrents (such as spikes on ledges or beneath overpasses) were upsetting to see. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Minneapolis, but the city could always get better.

Several great art museums, plus several downtown art installations were also fun. Walking along the river was quite nice, and over it too, walking across one of several bridges. There was a lovely theatre across a bridge on a land strip in the middle of the river, st. anthony main theater I think. Artsy films, out of the mainstream. Saw a really weird one. Enjoyed immensely. Walked all over town. Walker Museum, Art Institute, Sculpture Garden.
