Minneapolis has a lot going on and a lot to offer, but I detest driving in this city. It's one big spaghetti knot, and even my GPS got confused. When I was there in winter for a concert, the city put NO melting agent on super icy roads (possibly because the Mississippi River is nearby), and there were over a dozen accidents or cars off the roads. You could only travel about 35 in 65 mph zones, and we were late for the concert.
The city is very eco-conscious, which I deeply admire.

We loved Minneapolis!
We loved Minneapolis! There was lots to do outside (fantastic park system, Mississippi River, water falls ...) and many breweries and distilleries and restaurants to explore. The Mall of America is certainly that! We had a lot of fun!

We were in town just for an overnight visit.
We were in town just for an overnight visit. We went to Birchbark Books an independent, local bookstore and an excellent one at that. Then had dinner at Owamni which was amazing and delicious. The next day we drove out to Chanhassen to Paisley Park for the Prince tour and it was worth every penny.

Hotel was hard to find, not enough signage at ground level.
Hotel was hard to find, not enough signage at ground level. Parking was expensive and the cost was not mentioned at time of booking. After unpacking we had to move rooms as the toilet was not working. The TV remote not working (it was quickly fixed), some light bulbs burned out, the floor and furniture was stained. Overall we were disappointed. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

The town seemed dead, although I visited in March and was not cold most of the day time but it seemed like no one was around even in the downtime. The other thing I noticed that the city is too "white", not much diversity or international community visible there. Many buildings in the downtime seemed empty and some had wooden planks instead of glass windows.
The hotel is part of an old bank, and the dining room is in the old bank lobby, which is nice. Meals were good, a bit $$$$. But Thomas our waiter made it worthwhile, always smiling and happy to help you decide. All of the staff were always kind and ready to assist in any way. Location is close to US Bank Stadium, we were there for football game. Parking garage across street from hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable, need some updating. Pool was big hit for grandson.
Rooms are very spacious and not much noise even though it is in a perfect location downtown in the theatre district (across the street from Orpheum)
Each room has unique art, a huge shower & windows you can crank open a few inches if the weather is nice. Staff are friendly and attentive. Hotel bed was comfortable and desk area had plenty of space to setup and work. Overall would recommend for the location and comfortability.
We came to Minneapolis for a concert at the Armory and the location of the hotel was perfect! Only a couple of blocks away from the venue. The staff was also very friendly and our room was great for the occasion.
If you're driving your own vehicle, make sure you get there early as their on-site parking is extremely limited, maybe 20 some spots, and is first come first serve. Also a 21+ hotel apparently.
Location was in the ctr of Minneapolis ( nextdoor to hospital - no trouble with noise).Skyway at hotel brought you right to the city hall.Breakfast was outstanding! Spacious modern luxurious hotel.Parking (extra $) under hotel Convenience store at entrance . Hotel = couple of floors in high rise shared with offices...Super clean Super nice personnel complementary bottles of water
The apartment was well furnished, large, and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The building was quiet. We definitely experienced the stay we were expecting. Being able to Chromecast from my phone was a nice plus. The neighborhood is the nicest one in Minneapolis and the apartment was a much better value than a hotel would have been.
Nice and quiet, clean, spacious rooms, wonderful coffee, loved having a water pitcher and RO water available, attached restaurant was convenient and very convenient location. Would absolutely stay again. Very few hotel’ downtown have pools and this had a great pool area!
Location in Warehouse District near Target Field and close to light rail was very good. While the area lacks a lot of retail, there is a Whole Foods about three blocks away. The hotel is an adaptive reuse of an old warehouse with many architectural features preserved.
Beautiful rooms and great location, the hotel is very unique. Right across the street from the Orpheum theatre and reasonable parking right next door. The beds and showers were really nice and the room was really spacious overall. Plus a great coffee machine!
I personally liked having a corner room. I wasn’t directly next to somebody although the room was a bit small. I still enjoyed my stay overall the hotel is great. I personally prefer it instead of staying at the Hyatt.
The location is in the middle of the University of Minneapolis, for me, it was very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful, and the room was very big. The bed was very comfortable and the area is very quiet.
Room was spacious and the location worked very well using Uber and/or walking to primarily destinations in the Minneapolis metro area. The breakfast buffet was also a nice way to start each day.
My corner room was nice and quiet. I also enjoyed the view of the river. The inn was so close to downtown Minneapolis and yet it felt like a world away.
