We were here for a 25th anniversary and were very happy with the room and the location, and the staff was quite accommodating! We were allowed to use the parking before and after our check-in/check-out which made enjoying the area on both days much easier! The room was spacious and beautiful and the incredible view from the terrace is the icing on the cake! Front Beach is beautiful and literally steps away! Wish we had more time to check out the "On The Rocks Bar," it is such a perfect spot for an end of day cocktail!
The hotel was great. It was just a short walk to get to anything in the main area of town and Front Beach was right across the street if you wanted to spend the day at the beach. There was a small park adjacent to the property that was very nice that you could go to for quiet time. The room was excellent - very spacious and kept very clean. Couldn’t beat the view either - waking up to see the ocean in front of you was great. Couldn’t have asked for better.
The view was breathtaking - directly accross the street from Front Beach. You could open the window and see and hear the waves against the backdrop of Rockport Harbor. In addition to the beach, it is just a few minutes' walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was thoughtfully designed, well appointed and super clean. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful. A fantastic off season stay- thank you!
A truly unique rental in a beautiful location - large eclectic library and wood paneling, comfortable seating nooks, small but well supplied and clean kitchen, washer and dryer a big plus, lots a towels etc. WIFI & internet connections fine, walking distance to Front Beach and town (~ 15 min for me ) Loved the rural feel of the yard and pathway from the drive with garden and wild flowers in a relaxed mix. So much enjoyed having breakfast or just reading under the huge white poplar overlooking the bay.
I stayed in the Coral Room. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at Front Beach which is located right across the street. The Inn is in a great location very close to the beach and shops. Its a very peaceful place to stay.
The Lantana House is spotlesslyy clean and well maintained. Richard makes an excellent breakfast with home baked goods. You can’t beat the location….close to the shops, Bearskin Neck and Front Beach. Rooms are comfortable and pretty.
