Don't plan on hiking unless it's early in morning or in winter. Lots to see from your air conditioned car while occasionally getting out. Was more impressed with the scenery than I thought I would be. Pay attention to all the colors of the rocks.

Lots to see-Bad Water, Artist's drive, sand dunes, etc.

Lots to see-Bad Water, Artist's drive, sand dunes, etc. Even after five years, Scotty's Castle is still closed-If Disney ran the place it would have taken six months! Some of the pit toilets at major stops were "out of order"-for lack of service. Severall other things to see were closed during our visit due to recent storms. In other words, a typical US National Park.
