Location is brilliant for being able to see alot of the historical part of Philidelphia, the building was beautiful and I loved the fact that check in included a brief history of the hotel, staff were very friendly and always said hi or morning. I loved the afternoon cookies and coffee / tea they offered, I've never known any other hotel/b&b do that. The room was a very good size and the bed was very comfortable. Our first day at the botel they gave us a map with suggested places to visit, which was also an enjoyable moment. Would highly recommend staying at Morris House Hotel!

Clean, Upscale, Great Service, Excellent Location.
Great location, beautiful apartment in an industrial chic building with lots of charm. There's no real lobby space (a couple of couches inside the door), but we found out that the roof deck has a nice lobby for meeting up after you check out. Plus fabulous views of the city and city hall. Very close to Reading Terminal Market, Chinatown and Center City.
The staff was super helpful and kind! The room was fairly clean and comfy. You can have as much free coffee at the lobby as you like and you can also have as much purified water as you like in your room by using the hotel's plastic bottles.
The lobby was beautiful! The location was perfect, very close to the city hall. Most of the attractions are 10-15 minutes away on foot.
Great location opposite City Hall. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms - clean and well presented linked with hotel being a historic building. Nice public lounges and reception area which were well used by guests, people working 'from home' and meeting friends. Very helpful doorman (Nicholas) who gave us a friendly greeting every time he saw us and suggested places to eat, drink and visit. Interesting art work on display around the hotel.

The room was clean, it was near a hub (City Hall), free hot & cold breakfast was a plus, there was a gym, each room had a fridge/freezer, cleaning was frequent, front desk was patient, and everyone was knowledgeable about the area. For a budget hotel, there were a surprising amount of amenities.
The location of this hotel is fantastic. The rooms are typical of a hotel of this kind—cookie cutter—but had all the amenities, including a microwave to my considerable surprise. The best part was the view of City hall from my window. It was stunning, and I was high enough to see a lot of the stonework detail closely.
The stuff are helpful and always smiling. The room was quiet and clean. Also the room has microwave and a high quality TV.

Really walkable position to the city center and to Fairmount area, in 10-15min you are at Love Park and City Hall.
