The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable! Parking was easy to get in and out of. The metal water bottle in the room and free drinks (which we used for 2 more water bottles!) were amazing! Our only complaint was the restaurant. We had an order of street tacos (3 little tacos not even as big as a cd) and a bowl of chicken parmesan (barely a third full) was $40. It tasted great but was super expensive for what we got. Other than that, our stay was amazing, and we will book with the Rose hotel again!

Breakfast was nothing special. Parking was $40 per night, but they let us use it late in the day on our day of checkout, which was a huge advantage. Close to Portland State University, which was the purpose of our trip.

Outstanding! I travel regularly and was most impressed with this hotel’s style and staff. A European feel. The bar is beautifully appointed, JC & Jake are excellent ambassadors for the hotel.
Location is fabulous.

Hotel was great. Hilton as a company is hard to deal with. They don’t match rates. It takes hours to attempt to do so. But they just hang up on you. This is a great hotel. But dealing with Hilton on the phone makes me not want to stay here again. Which should not reflect on the hotel itself. But it does. When Hilton gets cheap about matching rates and plays games with you, it’s just a turn off. Again the actual hotel staff is great. Hilton honors seems to be a full on scam

We enjoyed exploring the west side of Portland from Park Lane Suites where we stayed. NW 23rd and NW 21st are fun streets with great shops and restaurants. The old neighborhoods are fun to walk through, admiring the historic houses and beautiful gardens. (May is a great time to see all the blooming rhododendrons!)
We enjoyed Papa Haydn's on NW 23rd. We also had a fun evening at Old Town Pizza. We first took their Shanghai Underground Tour complete with beer tasting and then enjoyed their pizza!
West Portland is full of great hiking trails in Washington Park, Hoyt Arboretum, and Forest Park.

The best thing about Portland are the family members who live there; they are the reason for our visit.
We do enjoy going to many sites in Portland including the various gardens: Rose Garden, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Pennisula Garden, Rhodendron Garden, and just walking around neighborhoods seeing the beautiful trees and plants. Powell's Bookstore is a must. We went to a Thorn's (women's Pro soccer team) game. It was exciting. There are many good food options in Portland. We like the zoo and of course there are many sites nearby to visit including a plethora of "falls" like Multinoma and Bridal Veil.
The beauty of the city is blighted by homeless camps which lead to much litter, etc.

Portland, you're a breath of fresh air, reminiscent of my beloved Calgary with your mellow pace of life. Yet, you offer a gentle winter, free from the icy grip that defines our seasons. Your embrace of the LGBTQ community and the effortless kindness of your residents have been a revelation, challenging the media's portrayal with a beautiful reality. A heartfelt shoutout to Moxy Portland Downtown for their uniquely fabulous vibe and warm hospitality. You've been the highlight of our journey. As we conclude our road trip across the US Pacific Northwest, it's clear—Portland, you're the perfect finale. 🌲✨

We enjoyed the area around our hotel, very much.
We enjoyed the area around our hotel, very much. It was the Northwest section of Portland. It was by Old Town and by China Town. It was also close to the waterway path, along the River. It felt safe. It felt up-lifting.

Enjoyed the nature and greenery.
Enjoyed the nature and greenery. Went to Providence Park for Timbers soccer match and would highly recommend. I liked Washington Park with the Japanese Gardens and Rose Test Gardens. Liked walking around Powell's Books. Really enjoyed walking around NW District neighborhood, and eating at Sweet Bacon Cafe and Scottie's Pizza Parlor. Recommend staying at Inn at Northrup Station in NW District or the Tiny Digs Hotels in Kerns neighborhood in East Portland. Enjoyed Screen Door restaurant at East Portland. Trail Blazers Basketball game at Moda Center was fine.
There is a lot of homeless and possible drug use around downtown Pearl District. Never felt threatened or in danger but definitely need to be cautious.
The patio. - It was my third stay in Portland but this was by far the best hotel. Clean, spacious, (new?), didn't feel like other Hamptons I have been to. - The breakfast area was done so more than a handful people at a time could get food and you didnt feel crowded when eating. - The staff was one of the friendliest in the area (I had dealings with 5, so I generalize this)- The room was good Hampton quality. The gym was well maintained.
Probably the best hotel I've stayed at. The room was bigger than average rooms, everything was clean and smelled good. Nice details like magazines, the menu and things to do in Portland.
Staff was all very nice and helped us with any questions we had. We didn't use the gym but it was well equipped. Loved the library and the decoration.
We also tried the food at the tavern and it was very good and well priced.
Good location if you’re looking to get away from the busyness of Downtown/Pearl District but still close enough to get anywhere you’re looking to go. Everyone working was super nice and the space is just lovely. Very comfortable room with lots of snacks/drinks at the ready and room service for anything else you might want. Lovely little coffee shop for those morning cravings.
This completely renovated, vintage hotel has been masterfully crafted for maximizing room space and comfort. The room wasn't large, but it was fabulous! We really liked how clean and beautiful everything looked. We loved the location for downtown walkability to local breweries, the food court pod (Hawthorne Asylum), etc., but the location also had a downside.
Spacious and very modern room at a good price compared with competition in downtown Portland. Very helpful staff and nice mix of guests. Lower price on west side of building due to proximity to major construction on facing block made sense. Some excellent shops in easy walking distance, and very convenient to upscale Pearl District.
The room was clean and exactly how described on the site. The bed and bedding was so comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location and parking was perfect for checking out the downtown area. We had a great time at the hotel restaurant and bar. I would recommend The Hotel Rose to anyone traveling to Portland.
Located in more of the business district, the this hotel is between much of the downtown restaurants and stores and the pedestrian bridge across the river. It is a good location to see all of Portland. We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and modern - as you should expect from a Hilton hotel.
Everything! This hotel is so cute and located in the heart of downtown. The staff went over and above to accommodate us since we arrived early. They were all so friendly. We came downstairs in the evening to get a snack and had the best desserts! Thank you so much and we'll be back!
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, excellent value for money and a really great location. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the AC works well, and walking distance to both downtown and excellent food. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely stay again!
We love staying at the Paramount. Their rooms are always clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is exceptional within the Downtown District. The staff is always well trained and professional. This is our go-to hotel anytime we stay in the Portland area.
Great location in downtown Portland, and it’s close to cheap parking garages. The room was well laid out and comfortable, and being on the 20th floor we had a fantastic view. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, so both of us slept really well.
The property was located downtown in decent area. It was not entirely of the midst of homeless that I read about other hotels in the Portland area. It was also very aesthetic- had a nice vintage vibe to it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The location of this hotel is the best thing about it. Since its just over the bridge you are away from the downtown hustle and bustle but still close enough that you could walk over. There are so many restaurants in the area too!
The location of this hotel was amazing! Very central to downtown Portland and the staff were so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the hotel cleaning staff were always around when you needed them!
The hotel is in a nice downtown location in easy walking distance to many shops. The room was spacious and attractive. Really liked the full sized pillows and the dual head shower.
Nice, stylish hotel in a good downtown location just a short walk from multiple transport options, including the MAX Red Line from the airport. Really friendly staff.
