My third stay in this hotel which speaks volumes. Slightly quirky but overall good, it has a decent bar and does reasonable food. Plenty of parking (chargeable). See the things I dislike though - not enough to stay anywhere else but could be improved. Like the location.

If you have never stayed and visited Portland, you are in for treat. An amazing city. Wonderful food, beer and wine. It has such a positive vibe, and so many things to do. Trying to fit it all in is the challenge. We have visited with and without a car. Both were easy. farmers market on Saturday morning downtown is so nice. Too many restaurants to name. all kinds, all price ranges, that is what we like about it. Killer happy hours.

Portland has always been a rather special place for northwest people to go for a proper city experience. Lots of side trips like Mt Hood, the Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and the rivers. It’s a city with a history and culture. They cleaned up skid row in the 1960’s , and they should be careful about inviting the homeless crowd into the city. It’s a beautiful place.

Portland is a beautiful city with so many different cultural neighborhoods with yummy food options, art, music, shopping and beautiful nature hikes, experience water falls, lakes, the waterfront, the city scape. We visited the Alberta, Mississippi, Pearl, Downtown, Lavender Festival/fields, Doja Tea Cafe, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, hike up to Wakine Falls, - experiencing Burmese, Mexican, Retro, vegan, Greek, vegan ice cream, and many more food options. My daughter was my tour guide and each day of my 5 day visit was filled with these wonderful adventures. All locations easy and close to access. Do not miss any of these.
It was a great place to stay! Breakfast was lacking but I guess that was all that could be expected. Missing items that were not delivered they said. We tried to go downtown but were encouraged by many not to park down there so we ended up leaving Portland earlier than expected. Hotel was a great local though.
Easily accessible to Portland's downtown, many bars & restaurants close-by, or choose the hotel's Bottle & Kitchen. Ample paid parking, a clean room/facilities, nice shower/bathroom, comfy bed, fluffy duvets, and a plesant view over Naito Parkway to the green space along the Willamette. But...
The room was clean, and all the services worked as promised. The shower was probably the best I have seen in a lot of time. Complementary canned water. The location was great, very close to the subway/tram lines and all the major attractions in Downtown Portland.
This hotel is great. Staff are professional and friendly. Very clean. Nice gym and other facilities. Unfortunately, the location is not ideal as downtown Portland feels somewhat unsafe. Not the hotels fault of course, but something to consider if staying here.
