Usually I go always at SOPHIA HOTEL all the time I go to Dar er Salaam .
This time was horrible my stay maybe because the fantastic receptionist works during day time .
I did check in at 6 pm and the room was dirty ,someone before than me smoked in could not even breathe.the blanket was smelling of bad feet so mending was no washed it .

They had all the time to check the room at 6 pm .
They did not care .
What I feel upset that I told them I was coming back after Zanzibar and they give me an horrible welcoming.
The most unpleasant moment was at 4 am morning time while I was wakes up as guests and receptionist were talking loudly .i had to get dressed,going out and I said please I have a flight tomorrow morning .the receptionist apologised by saying guests had problem .
Then again talking so meaning very very rude .
I used to like this place for many reasons and I cannot suggest anymore after this experience.

The amenities, the staff, the comfort, the location, the food, the breakfast were all amazing. Our boys loved the roof-top swimming pool and had a great time there. The location is also perfect if you are planning to get the ferry to Zanzibar, which was our case. We just had to cross the street.
