The Mizingani seafront is a beautiful old building with old character. The rooms are spacious with lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel has a colonial/ Arabic feel.
The breakfast was extensive with a good egg choice.

The hotel is an old palace, just beautiful Arabic architecture filled with antiques and beautiful furniture. The staff are friendly and we loved the courtyards.
It's a 5-minute walk from the beach and just off a main street in the Unesco listed old Town, Stonetown. Worth wandering around the safe old alleyways.
Lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay there again
We had a suite, it was worth the extra money

I absolutely love this hotel, it's super quirky, the staff are friendly, it's clean and brilliantly located on the beach with easy walking access to the shops and restaurants in Stone Town. Best for me is lazing by the rooftop or courtyard pool, the mostly ENORMOUS rooms and the decor is something completely other to anything I have ever seen anywhere... it's utterly unique!
