Great little hotel in a very green and luscious old villa a bit outside the center of Moshi. There is a hospitality school on site and a very servicable vegetarian restaurant, also run mostly by the pupils (girls) of the school. The pupils are boarding in a seperate building on the site. If you are lucky there are views of mount Kili from the terrace / restaurant. Apparently the property used to be an orphanage, but it does not show. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. There is a generator for when the power goes out. It's easy to grab a bajaj to the center, if you walk 1 minute from the entrance.

From airport transfers to helping us organize an incredible day hike at Mount Kilimanjaro - Gabriel‘s hospitality was absolutely amazing. It’s a comfortable property with a nice garden. All rooms are decorated beautifully and with lots of love. You can enjoy a view of Mount Kilimanjaro from the rooftop terrace. The breakfast is superb and staff all are super friendly and helpful. You immediately feel at home here. Moreover, I like the social / community projects which this hostel supports.

Nice view of mount kilimanjaro at the rooftop...breakfast its so nice and also coffee machiato,food are so delicious i enjoyed more compare to other places, i cant wait to come back here 🥰
We had a lovely stay at the Kaliwa lodge. The bungalows are nice and comfortable and the staff friendly.
We enjoyed the meals and liked that we could sit outside in the garden for lunch/breakfast. The terrace with the view over mount Kilimanjaro is a highlight on its own. A great place to relax and enjoy the view. Wifi was working great.
The staff helped us with the transfer and we had a enjoyable hikking/coffee tour in the area.
