This is our 2nd time here, absolutely amazing place, great location, most sightseeing within walking distance. Cozy, clean place, with rooms bigger than average in Istanbul! The rooftop restaurant and bar with amazing view and even better food!
Hotel staff is absolute highlight here, Everyone is super friendly, unobtrusive, there whatever and whenever you need!
We had an issue with Airport taxi, which we booked via Booking, guy just didn't appear, and we had to rush to catch a flight! Everyone was super helpful, Sedat from Front desk did everything possible to reach our booked driver, called over and over again, and finally helped us to catch another taxi, and fortunately we managed to the airport without huge stress!

What an absolute find, perfect location right next to the Spice bazaar and close to the ferry and walking distance over the bridge to lovely restaurants. Our room overlooked the mosque which was stunning.

Upper tier buzzy with trams and hundreds of locals fishing. Lower tier has many restaurants. We ate there twice (once very good and fair prices, the other OK food but ridiculously expensive). Moral is do careful research and check prices, especially fish and drinks. Some places are very pushy.

Avoid eating in one of these restaurants if you want to save your budget! Much better to try the experience of a fishbread on the nearby boats for as little as 50 turkish lira, a very live experience among local people. This makes the difference between a real voyager and a reach tourist

Conveniently located a few minutes away from the Galata Tower and the Galata Bridge. The hotel has 24h reception so they could accommodate a late arrival and early departure on the last day. The view from the window was nice, although the price to pay for that is the noise from the street.
Hotel is perfectly located very near Galata Tower uphill on one side, Galata Bridge downhill on the other side. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. Room was kept in immaculate condition.
What a great place to stay and to start your discovery of Istanbul! Very friendly manager and staff, always ready to help or to offer tailored advice. Very nice rooms with a beautiful view over the city and on the Galata Bridge. And bonus points for Mr. Osman, the housecat :-) Truly recommended!
The location was very good for our needs. 50 meters close to the tunnel taking you up to Istikal main street. And also good for visiting attractions like Galatower and walking the Galata bridge. We used public transport a lot as it was close also for buses and metro.

We knew the room size was not big, but it was fine enough for our needs - so it was not really a problem. And for the good things about it, we felt value for money.
The location is great. There are many major attractions nearby. There is a tram stop nearby, easy access to Dolmabahce Palace grand bazaar Topkapı palace Eminönü , Galata Bridge. A great option for a trip for several days and hiking in the historical center
Room as advertised, clean and comfortable. Make sure you book the rooms with external facing windows - a little bit more but worth it.
The location is excellent just off Istiklal Cd and within easy walking distance of Galata Tower and the Tunel that easily takes you up and down to the Galata Bridge for easy access to the main sites. Not noisy at all with windows closed.
The staff are very helpful and courteous. They even allowed for me to change into fresh clothes post check out in an empty room in preparation for a night time flight.
- The location was great! Close to Galata bridge, public transport and many restaurants and cafes.
- Staff was very friendly.
- Breakfast was okay, although more choice in bread and yoghurt would have been appreciated. The rooftop terrace is a nice place for breakfast.
- Our room looked out at a courtyard, thus there were no noises from the street.

Highly recommend exploring the different neighborhoods by foot. We walked down to the ferries from our hotel and then hopped on a ferry over to another part of Istanbul (Üsküdar), Then walked around there, had lunch and then took another ferry to a different location (Käbatas). After exploring around there, we took a taxi to Ïstiklal street. We meandered down to Taksïm Square for people watching and then walked all the way to Galata Tower. We finished by walking across the Galata bridge and back through the Sultanahmet area back to our hotel, after stopping at a rooftop restaurant for dinner first.

People can go to any restaurant, but before the order they must confirm the menu price. I found Asia side is not only cheap but you can get good quality restaurants. I advice try to avoid the fish restaurants under the Galata Bridge as they can trap you very easy.
