A magnificent place from which to experience Thai's natural...
A magnificent place from which to experience Thai's natural environment. Highly recommended despite the rather rudimentary accommodation options on the lake. However, it is only worth going to Khao Sok if you stay on the lake as that is where the hikes through the rainforest are and where the animals are.
Treat the accommodation as part of the experience!

The hotel staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. We found a cockroach in our room (not unusual in Thailand isn’t it) and they helped us evacuate it from the room, they also checked under the bed with sheets and all. All inquiries that we had they always helped and responded! Everything was very clean. You can buy some Khao Sok tours and activities directly at their reception.
The property was very nice and felt like we were in the jungle. The views were very lovely. The host was very nice and accommodating, would definitely recommend booking your tours and travels here. We booked the 2 days 1 night khao sok water bungalow tour. The host let us leave our bags in the hotel after we checked out and when the tour ended we got dropped back at the hotel to get our bags. We also booked a minivan with them to krabi, which picked us up from the hotel.
The owner was really kind and helpful. The beds are nice and you have your own space with the curtain. I booked my Khao Sok overnight lake tour as well through this hostel. It was well arranged and I had a amazing experience.
The beds were comfy and the dorm room was spacious. The tour to Khao Sok National Park which we booked via Chillax was really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can order breakfast at the hostel and there were vegetarian options. Free coffee in the communal area.

Very, very clean. And super nice owner and staff. Good pool and located next to one of the entries of Khao Sok national park. Lots of possibilities to eat in the neighborhood and listing tours offered in and around the hotel. Note that the river villas have a great virus but also some noise from the river (especially in rainy season), but that’s not a real problem if you like nature. They make a nice breakfast too!
It’s my third time in Thailand but this hotel is my top 1. There are no luxury sets inside or fancy welcome drinks but owners make everything to create beautiful atmosphere. Also if you are a plant lover - this place will be wonderful for you! You can be driven to the Khao sok village by owner - and during this little trip you will get numerous information about Thailand! :) Also - food in restaurant are delicious and not overpriced. If you want to, then hosts will organise you transport or tour. Great experience:)
We really liked our room and the view from our room. The architecture was incredible. It was such a unique stay and really had that jungle feel since we we had almost 360 degree views of the jungle. It was also extremely quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff was very sweet, they gave us a ton of recommendations and even helped us book a Khao Sok boat tour last minute. Highly recommend this place, it was one of our favorite stays in all of Thailand.
Comfiest beds that I've had in Thailand! Single bed layout seems a bit odd but it works well with the shelves in-between. Plenty of toilets and showers for the amount of people too! On the main road in Khao Sok which is useful for restaurants etc. Booked an overnight tour (would recommend!!) and all my transfers through the hostel too. Would definitely return.
