A very clean and new resort, even though some facilities are still under construction. This did not take away from the beauty of the place. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I found it odd that some reviews were complaining about insects in the cottage. However, in reality during my stay, there were no signs of any insects or even mosquitoes inside the cottage. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. Special thanks to Melisse and Leila from the reception.

Beautiful area on a great stretch of beach for swimming. Quiet but not too quiet. Rooms are absolutely beautiful, you MUST order the mango and shrimp tacos. Would stay here longer next time.

- Beautiful it is, in the middle of nature with many beautiful trees. Squirrels and birds all around.

Baan Yaimai is a very cute guest house! Either the old rooms or the new ones, to each a vibe. The design and looks are very well thought through and intended to make you feel at home. They provide you with a big kitchen and all what you need to make your breakfast, also a washing machine for your laundry. The pool is perfect to relax and you can walk in 1-2min to the fisherman village entrance.
Bonus: The best coffee shop in Koh Samui is right across the street!
Perfect hotel for families with kids. Really short distance from night market at Fisherman village and good facilities for everyone, including the kids.
Cosy little hotel, helpful and accommodating staff. Lovely little cafe attached to the hotel as well. Only 5 minute walking distance from a 7-11 and the walking Fisherman Village market also easy walking distance
The hotel is beautiful, well located next to the fisherman village and the beach walkthrough with many restaurants and bars. Rooms are specious and well designed, but have no inner doors so the bed area, the vanity mirror and sinks, toilet and shower are all sharing one space with no doors to separate between them. Staff is super nice and accomodating.
All the staff around the resort were lovely, very kind and helpful. It’s a modern resort with a lot to other guest in their free time if they don’t want to leave the resort. The pool area is okay but if you go through the restaurant you have a quick & easy access to the beach which is stunning, you can also walk down to the restaurant by the fisherman village. We booked all our exertions with the hotel which was easy.
Modern building, clean room. It's on a busy street but set back enough that my room was quiet. Gardening place next door and lots of tropical plants. Very small pool but it is clean. 15 minute walk into Fisherman Village which is very touristy. 5 minute walk to a local market with a few eating places, that is just starting to reopen. The Kao Soi place is great, 60 THB.
