I decided to stay at Hotel Triglav when it was mentioned in a travel blog and I thought it looked perfect. As a solo traveller, I was not disappointed!
During my trip to Slovenia, I stayed in multiple properties and Hotel Triglav stood out by a mile as the best.
Location-wise, its view over Lake Bled is unbeatable. It's located close to the lake (down a steep ramp & steps, prepare yourself if it's hot!) near a bathing area and access to Pletna boats.
Room-wise, I had the standard "single" room with a roof window, and it was perfect for one - a huge, extremely comfortable bed, decent sized bathroom, robes & towels of all sizes, a desk, kettle, tea bags, etc.
The included breakfast was the main reason that I chose Hotel Triglav for part of my stay in Bled, and it didn't disappoint. You should 100% stay here just for the breakfast experience! All-you-can eat a-la-carte style breakfast dining with a wide range of options for all palates whilst looking out to the most spectacular view of the lake. The ambience in the restaurant in the morning was beautiful. I can't speak for the dinner as I chose not to eat in, but it has excellent reviews.
Finally, facilities-wise, the pool was lovely and I had it almost to myself on the afternoon I visited, and the sauna is also included if you ask reception, and there are loungers located around the pool to relax in after swimming. It's perfect for when the weather isn't great! Reception also allowed luggage storage which was perfect for exploring the lake until the room was ready.

Rooms were comfortable and large bathrooms and a the top floor had a a view of the lake, although slightly obstructed.
Completely renovated in 2016 and set 300 metres from Bled Lake, Old Bled House provides accommodation in Bled consists of family and double rooms. Free WiFi is provided in all areas.

Gorgeous property with lovely views. The rooms are large in size & the whole place felt so homely with extra touches everywhere. The staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly & the breakfast was delicious. We stayed for 2 nights and wished it was way longer! Cannot recommend this place enough.

I like the location, away from the city. Breakfast is just great.
Hotel Astoria Superior is within a 5-minute walk from Bled Lake, a lush park and Bled Castle. The bar features a summer terrace and a wellness centre.

Very nice walk and great views.
Very nice walk and great views. The only thing that is disappointing is that you cannot get close to the water, put your hands/feet there. Just made a similar route in Germany, at Almbachklamm and marble ball mill (Berchtesgaden) and you can walk in the water, play with rocks , create your own damns (which is great for kids). But for some families it may be a plus, if they are afraid for their kids :) .

The most stunning place in all of Slovenia. We had really heard very little about here except that was a ski resort. It is absolutely beautiful with its emerald green river, stunning snow capped mountains and beautiful lake. A real hidden gem.

Incredible nature, though your visit will greatly depend on weather, season, day of the week and the actual time of arrival.
most of the trip follows a narrow path along the gorge and river, so the less people the more you get to enjoy nature and not stand in line for the next selfie spot.
the way back to the parking lot is quite long and is actually harder than the actual path of the park.

Beautiful! Although it is not far from Lake Bled, we got lost in the middle of our drive there. Our car's navigation system did not work. You should use Google map instead or ask locals before you leave for Vintgar Gorge. Regarding parking, the official site was not updated. There were at least three parking sites available. You should decide which one is best considering which route you take for return. If you want to dive into cold and crisp water at the end of Gorge, bring a swim suite. We took the longest route for return. Although it took longer, we enjoyed it, watching peaceful animals (goats, cows, sheep) and sounds of (cow) bells.

The gorge is an absolute must if your going to bled but just...
The gorge is an absolute must if your going to bled but just be warned the walk along the gorge is a one way trip along the gorge .the walk back takes longer but you can get a shuttle back it you wish I think it was q0 Eurostar per person.

The hosts Ryan and Katja were amazing! They were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The hostel is well located; right next to the Radovna River, walking distance to Vintgar Gorge, and easy commute to Bled and Lake Bohinj via public bus. Many facilities, relaxing spots, and amazing breakfast.
We stayed here with my family for almost a week and it was perfect. Calm surroudings and nice, clean apartments. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The owner was friendly as well. It’s a few minutes drive from the beach at Lake Bled, or a 15-20 mins walk. Also if you’re by car you can easily visit places like Vintgar Gorge. I would totally recommend staying here.
The host Bill was really helpful and kind. He explained a lot of things about the area as tourism destination and look after the guests needs. The apartment is quite new with fully equipped kitchen. Also, it is located closed with Vintgar gorge and easy to access Bled lake. Unfortunately, we did not have time to rent bikes, but they provide free bikes for whole family. So, if you have time, enjoy it!
Spacious, clean apartment with balcony, comfortable bed, large bathroom and very well-equipped kitchenette (coffee pod machine, dishwasher). Nice garden surrounding the place with lots of amenities to relax. The host Mr Ales was most helpfull, kind and hospitable. The location was perfect - by bike you can reach the lake Bled or Vintgar Gorge within minutes! The place is also nearby the Krma valley which lies in Triglav National Park and provide you with difficult but scenic trail to the mountaints peak.

You can also reach Vintgar gorge just in 35min by foot - this way you save 10€ for parking and arter you have short way back to apartment . Comfortable beds.
Very nice apartment, quiet and fully equipped. The host was very helpful and provided us useful information. Location was close to Bled (30 minutes walk) and also to Vintgar gorge.
Amazing apartment.. Very spacious, clean and comfortable with very welcoming hosts. Lovely veranda to relax upon. Added bonus of well maintained bikes to borrow with a short ride to the lake, mostly traffic free..worth the effort. Bakery 5 mins walk away. Although on a main road it was still very quiet. Shuttle Bus to Vintgar gorge 5 min walk away. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice apartment in the beautiful village Zasip. Walking distance to Vintgar Gorge (Soteska Vintgar). If you want to go by car and save 10eur for the parking, go and park you car above the village Zasip near Sveta Katarina church. Then walk toward the entrance of the gorge which is on the left (about 20 minutes). Since the gorge is one-way, you will end your trip on the other end. Then you can walk back to Sveta Katarina.
Do not miss tandem paragling adventure above the lake Bled.
The house was perfect, as was its location. The Vintgar gorge was close, you can walk there easily. The bus station and the local market was super close, too.
The host and his wife were so friendly, they were the sweetest host!
I would deffinitely recommend the Koledniki apartment! :)
