The rooms were amazing. We initially booked a cheaper room for one night then into the room with a balcony and a view for the next two. The decision was on cost and availability. We were upgraded to an amazing suite for the first night. Felt very spoilt. Transfered into our booked room and that was still pretty awesome. Location, fabulous pool... was all a great experience.

Out of this world.
Out of this world. I think each and every big city should have similar urban forests. Amazing. I think one of the attractions was closed for maintenance when we were there. I will definitely visit this place again when I am there next time.

Visit the domes in the afternoon and stay for the evening light show. There is lots of walking to see this place properly but there is a very cheap shuttle from the nearest MRT to the gardens and I think it is worth getting it. You buy shuttle tickets when ou buy your tickets for the domes online. Definitely go into one or two domes. They are fantastic becasue of the flowers, the displays and the views of Singapore harbour and city from inside the domes.

The free nightly sound and light show is amazing and very beautiful. Two showings - 7:45 and 8:45pm. Get there at least 30-45 mins early to sit down in a spot. Byo mat to sit on, or else sit on the concrete like most people!
I enjoyed the Skyway walk and view, and the Flower Dome with gorgeous orchid display. Both have a reasonable charge. The Cloud Forest was closed on the day I went- so check closure days if this is important to you.

The Gardens are fantastic - however i pre-booked tickets via Globaltix on Booking.com. The emails i were sent prior did not allow us entry and didn't contain the QR code that the entry staff was needed. As a result we had to purchase more tickets and the company are refusing to reimburse me for the tickets i bought on this website

As far as I am concerned, a must see.
As far as I am concerned, a must see. The two gigantic glass buildings housing all kinds of plants, flowers orchids, waterfall, beautiful wood carvings of dragons, owls, etc. are well worth spending several hours. And one of the artificial 'trees' contains an elevator to a restaurant at the top.

Beautiful, stunning.
Beautiful, stunning. We went into 2 of the domes--very chilly inside!! Bring a jacket. We also had a bundle package the included the skywalk outside, but we didn't know we had to collect timed tickets (separate from our mobile tickets) at the ticket office. So we missed the skywalk. :( Anyway, we enjoyed the light show from below. We found a place to sit about 15 minutes before the show, and enjoyed the chance to lie down while watching the lights! Very cool angle. We had some difficulty exiting the park and finding the nearest subway station... Maybe ask if you're trying to take the metro home. Finally, just a thought from this cynical reviewer: the energy required to maintain this place must take up a lot of resources: electricity to keep the AC running, water to keep the plants hydrated, lights to keep everything illuminated and also beautiful for the light show. It just seems a bit counter to their mission of bringing awareness to fragile ecosystems and promoting sustainability. I would like to see the Gardens by the Bay be carbon-neutral in the future!!!

It is walking distance to the Gardens by the bay, and other attractions there. We were able to have lunch near the water, a very relaxing atmosphere but the weather was hot ;)
The location was very convenient. Close to 3 MRT stations and also you can access Marina Square Mall via the hotel and also Suntec City.
I had the best views of the Marina Bay Sands, Flyer and Merlion. I watched the Gardens by the Bay light show from my room. Also Spectra at MBS.
Great location close to 3 MRT subway stations (Outram Park, Chinatown, and Maxwell), walking distance to Chinatown, short MRT ride to main tourist sites (e.g. Gardens by the Bay, Little India, Kampong Glam, Merlion, Raffles Place, Airport etc.), lots of restaurants near hotel, very clean and tidy room, staff were friendly and helpful.
We booked The Scarlet as a central base for a quick trip to Singapore to see the Gardens by the Bay. It was nestled in China town and allowed us to get a taste of the local culture, food and style. Amazing for 36hrs.
We got a free upgrade to a Club room which was spacious with Balcony overlooking the pool. Close to the Mrt and bus stop. Bus 36 from terminal 2 is direct and drops across the road from the hotel. Mrt is direct train to Gardens by the Bay. The Gym is good size with up to date equipment.
