This is our second time at the Miragem but our first as a family with a one year old. We were blown away but how easy being at the Miragem made it. The cot for the room was a proper cot and mattress and not a travel cot which our son would normally hate so he slept as well as at home. The buffet breakfast had lots of options for him. The indoor family pool and play/soft play area were incredible to give him a break from the sun. Both management and staff were so attentive offering to make special food as needed, open up the soft play early and even to bring toys to our room if needed. All of this on top of the incredible spa, pool area and bar that we knew we were guaranteed from our first stay. We have blown away and already planning our third stay....

We had an amazing stay in the legacy hotel. The hotel is so clean and rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The pool area is so clean and very comfortable beds to lounge on. The staff here are truly exceptional. They are so polite when you arrive and are on hand for recommendations and ideas of what to do. They were so friendly constantly asking if we needed anything by the pool. It really made a huge difference to our stay.

Boca do Inferno
The full force of Boca do Inferno (Hell’s Mouth) can be seen in winter, when storms cause the waves to hammer against this cave and inlet. The continued erosion of rocks has helpfully formed a small bay with an arch framing the Atlantic Ocean beyond – so, when the sun breaks out, take a short walk or cycle from Cascais and head to its sandy shores.

This is a great location for beautiful sunsets as well as seeing the power of the Atlantic Ocean rush through a relatively small opening, the mouth of hell.
I went first on a calm, sunny day, where the power of the water was relatively sleepy compared to the next time, when the ocean was a bit stormy and the water rushing into the mouth of hell, was powerful and awe inspiring.
Walking from Cascais is great exercise and may be too long with a gentle incline for some travelers. Also, bring 20 cent Euro to use the restroom facilities, should you need them. The units are self-cleaning, so whatever you do, do not try to enter after someone has exited, as you may be stuck inside while cleaning. Wait for it to turn green, pay your 20 cents and wait for the door to open.

We booked a room with a sea view. The room was cleaned thoroughly and the pool facilities were excellent. The hotel is in walking distance to Boca do Inferno, and close to bike rental on the promenade.
Perfect location near to the marina, Boca do Inferno, a large park, and an amazing little beach cove near to the lighthouse.
Great Pool area.
Polite and helpful staff.
Superb breakfast choices. Room was large and well equipped with a huge bed, plenty of clothes storage space. Location was great with a pleasant 10/12 minute walk into the centre of Cascais or 10 minutes in the other direction to Boca do Inferno. Outside pool was well maintained and serviced throughout the day by attentive pool staff.
Modern, clean and very spacious room, furnished with a huge Queen-size bed and a set of bunk beds, which was perfect for our family of three.
Friendly and welcoming hosts and extremely convenient location. Close to town centre on foot, including supermarkets, restaurants and the beaches. Boca do Inferno is about 20 minutes on foot. The train station and bus terminal are also within walking distance.
The view and location are off the charts. INCREDIBLE! Near all the beautiful spots in Cascais and a walk from Farol da Guia and Boca do Inferno. Hearty and delicious breakfast.
The location was good with proximity to Cascais marina, Boca do Inferno, Casa de Guia etc. We walked and got very cheap taxis to everywhere that we needed to go. The apartment was very clean, really spacious and the pool and gardens were immaculate.
