Intramuros is a great tourist place to visit as it reminds you of the past and historical situation during the Japanese occupation of Manila. It has improve a lot and more attraction are included in the place.

Take advantage of the bike tours from Bambike or segue tours from White Knight Electric Chariot tours to explore the city. Walking tours are also fun but when it's mid-afternoon and the sun is high in the sky, this could be a challenge. These tours are led by very knowledgeable tour guides who speak really good English so communication is not a problem.

Great place to soak in part of the history of the country.
Great place to soak in part of the history of the country. Parts of it were under renovation but did not distract from the historical significance of this former walled city. Wear a hat and carry some water especially if you are visiting during the warm season.Some sites in the area have an entrance fee others are free.Casa Manila ,a reproduction of an old Spanish mansion was particularly impressive. The site where Jose Rizal,the country's national hero,was tried for sedition and inciting rebellion and where he was kept until the day he was executed,was eerily fascinating.

Try to take the pedicab tour, as what our guide once said, dont walk around intramuros you will just end up arguing ,because its way too big. Well,he had a point, me and my husband had so much fun wandering around the historical site with our english speaking pedicab guide. He really know the history of the place, even pointed out bullet holes at the execution wall.

The hotel is located between luneta park and manila bay; close to intramuros, so that it is both, central, but also in an area with less traffic and relatively fresh air. The staff is very friendly and accomodating and the bay view from respective rooms is spectacular.
We wanted a place near oceanpark and intramuros so that my 13month old won't be too exposed to the sun so their proximity fits the bill. The room is very spacious and our view of the ocean dock along with the sunset is amazing.
The hotel feels like we are in a spanish era but the decors and chandeliers make it so well-lit that it doesn't feel stuffy.
The pool is also amazing with a view.
I was here a week previously but on 3rd floor and this time on 5th floor. Last week I rated hotel a 7 because it needed renovation: but 5th floor is already renovated very well! New flooring, bathroom, bedroom (although smaller than on 3rd). So everything works very well and location is excellent both for walking to Intramuros and for local bars and food. Staff were always very good.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and generously stocked. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Joven went out of his way to communicate and ensure everything was ready and ran smoothly throughout my stay. The location was in the business sector but taxis were cheap and I used the Grab app to get me to Intramuros.
Everything about this hotel was really great, Very happy with our stay here.

Location is good.. Intramuros, National Museum, Binondo etc are a short (short for Manila) ride away. Some review claimed there are not much diners and shops nearby.. well, Robinsons mall is literally around the corner. Room is huge, bed comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful in every request. Taxies ordered by porters arrived fast and always ran with metered standard price. Breakfast is several plated options, enough to get your day started.
