It was a good base for exploring the coast during our short visit. Hired a car from the lodge which was handy. Transfers arranged to and from the airport. Laundry facilities available.

Garden and apartment were very clean and well cared for. We only stayed shortly but the apartment has all needed items to prepare food and we did not feel like we are missing anything. There is a ventilator and A/C in the bedroom.
There is a supermarket nearby, a clothes store and a couple of restaurants, but I would recommend renting a car for getting around or to the beach etc.
Set in a tropical garden with large outdoor swimming pool, Le Relais Fenua is located just 250 metres from the beach. Each room features a TV, private bathroom and private terrace.

This one is hard to review. You can tell that someone invested a lot of time and heart during the initial stage as the property has all necessary equipment and is really well designed to meet guests needs.
Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Fare Cocoon is a recently renovated homestay located in Punaauia, less than 1 km from Toaroto Beach.
Located just 2.5 km from Toaroto Beach, Moehani Beach Lodge provides accommodation in Punaauia with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk.

The apartment was a spacious ground floor area with separate bedroom. Large kitchen/ dining area and sitting area that flowed onto the outside deck and its own enclosed lawn, and could not be closer to the beachfront. Great access through its own lockable gate onto the beach. Modern fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Excellent air conditioning. A very spacious and comfortable place to stay and in a great location on the beach. Just across the road from a supermarket for any food and beverage supplies. Our host was very helpful by phone in guiding me to access the gate to enter and the lockbox to obtain the key as through my fault I had lost his message.
Really friendly helpful hosts. They were available to be our taxi service thank goodness . The beach is excellent, accessed by a passage way. Great snorkeling with lots of colourful fish, coral, a shark, a turtle and a stingray. The new Museum of Tahiti is excellent but a long walk away.
The cabin is private and spacious. The beach is a good place to see the spectular sunset. Avocados were in season so our host Jules gave us some.
There is a usb port on the tv if you need to charge your mobile . Jules speaks good English.
