Location was perfect! Short drive to town and walking distance to a popular eatery, Betsey Jane. Room and bathroom were very clean. I personally loved the heated mattress topper. The staff was very helpful in guiding us into things to do and see around Fox Glacier. She also answered our questions about things to do in Franz Josef as we were driving there the next day.
Great location for exploring Fox Glacier - lovely views of the mountains. Useful kitchen area. Short distance to the village for amenities such as post office and nice restaurant.
The location was great - very close to Fox Glacier township but quite rural and very quiet. Spectacular views to the mountains! An extensive and really good breakfast and our hosts, Trish and Colin, were friendly, with good advice and suggestions.
The Lodge was near the centre at Fox Glacier which was good.
Staff were excellent with information about local attractions and had also arranged a trip to see glow worms free of charge.

Stunningly beautiful location. The comfortable rooms were well-appointed and cosy - able to withstand the rapidly changing Winter weather in Fox Glacier. The proprietor could not have been more helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely place.
Room was clean and spacious. Iron and board, pedestal fan and heater, plenty of storage. Usual kitchen utensils and bathroom toiletries. Free milk on arrival.

Convenient hostel located at Fox Glacier with a large communal kitchen and hang out common area. WiFi is excellent. There is an area with individual showers (nice showers) and an area with individual toilets. There is an outdoor hot tub. We parked on the street in front which was convenient.
