Great stay in Fredrikstad! The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and it feels like a home. Self serve food for breakfast was provided in the fridge. Everything you could need for a stay close to the city center and the river. Would definitely recommend. For cyclists, a dry place to store the bikes is provided.

This property is spacious and the kitchen was well equipped.
Lots of space for a family or a group of friends. Conveniently located to wonderful hiking trails and the grocery store.
The facilities were outstanding, exceptionally clean as well.
All the staff were fantastic and very helpful, we will definately be back at some point.

Nice location in the centre of modern town and only 15 minutes walk to the old town (Gamlebyen). There is a free ferry to take you across the river. We parked our car in the public parking next to the hotel (fee is needed).

A lovely, simply decorated and furnished room with everything I needed, very much in keeping with the historic hotel building and "Old-Town" Fredrikstad location. Very handy for wandering round the old town and for the free ferry to Isegran and the newer town.

Comfortable hotel right in the city centre. All the required facilities are there. There was even a bathtub in the room!

The hotel doesn't have own parking, but Lykkeberget P-Hus is affordable and has an exist right into the hotel.
Special thanks for the book with local sights in the room. Didn't know there is a little Stonehenge nearby.
The location is good: it's a short walk to the waterfront with many restaurants and a free boat that goes to the old town.

Staff is amazing kind and helpful. The recently renovated rooms are lovely and the position near the waterfront and only a 15 minute walk to the ferry for the old town make it a great choice. However, it is the staff who make the place, they kindly upgraded mum's room so that her shower space was more appropriate and let us leave our car there all day when we had checked out. Very friendly young staff who have given a great impression of the hotel and their city.
The location was great for our purposes. A pleasant walk from the train station, close to shops, a good downtown location, and close to the waterfront and ferry to the old town.
