It is super central and that's good if you're in town for a short visit and you want a walkable distance everywhere. Room is clean (although the decoration is so tacky). I think the decoration in the lobby is at least a little cool but the rooms look like they have picked cheap materials and someone who did not have a good sense for interior design. Staff was friendly except when meeting my kindly phrased question if they could put us in a room as far away from the noise as possible and I was met with "you should book a hotel outside of Groningen then". I also know this isn't true because I have lived in the city center of Groningen for three years much much less undistrubed than this.
