Lovely hotel, with friendly, professional and helpful staff. Room was spacious and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast on the terrace was a real treat, we did eat in the very nice restaurant on the Saturday evening, taster menu was superb and the waiting staff were knowledgeable and very attentive.
Made use of the hotel bikes and explored Zwolle, a beautiful city.

This is a very special hotel which has been sensitively established within a protected historic building. The adaptions have been done carefully to preserve the original features whilst providing guests with very high quality modern facilities. The architect, designers and owner have done a fantastic job. The staff were super helpful too. Definitely the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in.

The best cake and chocolates in the Netherlands at Bakkerij Lindeboom. Try my three favourites: Dark chocolate filled with 5-spice, dark chocolate with cardamom filling, and the milk chocolate filled with caramel and sea salt. Try the others too. Many are prize winning chocolates.

I had only the time to visit quickly the city center for a dinner. I was raining so we could not appreciate very much, but I am sure that the hystorical part of the city, for what I could have seen, is very interesting and charming. I'll try to visit it again in the future.
The staff was helpful, the room and bath were well equipped.
The selection for the breakfast was lavish, as one would expect from such a large hotel.
The location of the hotel is really good for a visit to Zwolle's city center.
I would also highlight the extra effort of the hotel staff who was prepared for the guests leaving early - like us - despite the previous day was a national part/holiday (27th April).
Stayed here 3 times now. Ideal for visiting Zwolle centre and De Librije (10 minute walking distance). Very spacious rooms, situated in a tower of the old citywall. No breakfast available in the room itself, but that is never a problem for us, as breakfast posibilities are numerous and close by. Make sure you can climb the stairs to to chamber, no elevator available.

Great room in a lovely old building with lots of character. Brilliant Tapas restaurant downstairs. Situated right on the main square with numerous other restaurants and bars nearby. Friendly welcome.
Street markets on several days, which were a pleasure to stroll around. Zwolle had much more to offer than we expected.
The staff were super Friendly and attentive.
Beautiful hotel, can't fault the hospital. The wellness area was lovely. If the hotel adds a swimming pool this would be superb, but can't mark the hotel down. The decor was beautiful throughout the hotel.
